Behold the seemingly endless natural beauty around the village of Stryn, a landscape that includes soaring mountains, ancient glaciers and emerald-green valleys.
Drive into some of the most scenic countryside in Norway, where you will find the village of Stryn. It sits on the innermost part of the Nordfjord, surrounded by majestic mountains, fertile valleys and crystal-clear lakes. This naturally beautiful area attracts all sorts of outdoor adventurers, many of whom you may spot while driving along the Stryn River and on to Stryn Lake before arriving at the Jostedalsbreen National Park Center. The views from here will be extraordinary, as the center overlooks water on one side with a forested mountain backdrop on the other.
Weather permitting, the views will become even more magnificent as you ascend into the Stryn Mountains, negotiating nearly 20 hairpin turns before reaching an elevation 2,000 feet above sea level. While pausing for photos, you can't help but be awed by the unspoiled beauty that stretches out before you.
Continuing on, you will soon arrive at the Stryn Summer Ski Center, where conditions are excellent for skiing and snowboarding year-round. Here, you'll be treated to a hot beverage and snack while you take in the panoramas. For those who wish, there is an optional round-trip cable car ride up the mountain which can be paid for directly at the venue.
Following your stop at the Ski Center, you'll transfer back to Olden via yet another picturesque route.

Note: Tour includes approximately 1 hour of easy walking/standing which includes a few uneven surfaces. Tour may not be suitable for anyone who suffers from motion sickness. Warm, layered clothing; sunglasses; and flat comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
