After crossing the world’s smallest drawbridge, you will travel past a lengthy nature reserve in surprisingly bucolic Somerset Village, around the Great Sound and on to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. Climb the spiral staircase of this whitewashed beacon – the world’s oldest cast-iron lighthouse – and you will be treated to 360° views of southern Bermuda. As you will notice while pausing at some of the loveliest beaches that rim the southern shores, they feature pink sand. The magnificent pastel hue comes from a combination of white limestone sediment and red single-cell organisms called foraminifera. Pastels also dominate Hamilton, Bermuda’s winsome capital, especially along Front Street. The colors beautifully complement the harbor’s turquoise water. During free time in Hamilton, you might shop in the one-of-a-kind stores or simply meander about enjoying the stylish ambiance.

OVERVIEW
Spend the day relaxing on the beach doing whatever you please without a care in the world. A short walk will bring you to the Snorkel Park Beach Club on the tip of fishhook-shaped Bermuda that lies between the Great Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. One of the club’s ambassadors will get you settled at your reserved single lounger, which makes an ideal home base. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you wish. Stretch out on the lounger and bask in the sun. Walk along the beach at the edge of the shore and take a refreshing swim in the sea. Spend as much time as you want on your chosen activities, as there is no schedule to follow or need to rush. Included is a complimentary welcome rum swizzle and 3 hours complimentary use of a snorkel and mask. OVERVIEW

Follow a circuitous road through Mount Desert Island and stop along the way at breathtaking spots that inspired some of America’s most gifted 19th-century landscape painters. The road winds through stunningly beautiful Acadia National Park, which adherents of the Hudson River School art movement painted in a style that Romanticism heavily influenced. Acclaimed artists such as Thomas Cole, Thomas Moran and Frederic Edwin Church were all captivated by the natural wonders, which look much the same today as they did in their time. You will pause at Sieur de Monts Spring, the overlook at dramatic Schooner Head and at serene Jordan Pond, a sheltered glassy lake that ancient glaciers carved out of the landscape. You will also drop by precipitous Otter Cliff and Otter Cove, which offers sweeping views of the sea and inland. At each stop, the guide will provide entertaining anecdotes about the artists that captured these majestic landscapes on canvas.

Travel around the picturesque Harrington Sound with its beautiful bays and coves with views of charming pastel-colored homes with distinctive architecture peppered on surrounding hillsides. Highlights include admission to the island’s top attractions for all ages-Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo and Crystal Caves. The Aquarium, Museum & Zoo showcases more than 200 species of fish and delicate marine invertebrates from shallow waters. See everything from chattering cockatoos to tiny seahorses, pink flamingos to Madagascar reptiles and more.

Your next admission to the beautiful limestone Crystal Caves, where you’ll have the rare opportunity taking you 80 feet below the surface to view wondrous formations of stalactites, stalagmites and underground lakes on your guided tour. For those not wishing to journey the 81 steps into the caves, the gardens around this area are beautifully manicured and are a great spot to relax or browse the gift shop.

Join the crew on your snorkel boat, as your Captain sets course for the wreck of the 'Constellation', a shipwreck made world-famous by the film "The Deep". Three decades later, there is even more beautiful coral and fish surrounding the shipwreck. The wreck lies in only 20 feet of water, but is six miles off the north coast of Bermuda. The views are as breathtaking above the water, as they are below. After a full snorkel instruction and safety briefing, you’ll have approximately 45 minutes to explore the 'Constellation', as well as the nearby wreck of the 'Montana'. The Captain will then sound the horn, and prepare to cruise to your next snorkel location, a beautiful and secluded cluster of the world's most healthy coral reef. You’ll have another half hour to venture out and explore the underwater world before making the way back to your ship. In the event of inclement sea conditions, captain reserves the right to substitute with an inshore reef site.

A combination of both shallow water and deep-water interaction, your swim experience will start with an introduction to these amazing mammals followed by a 20 minute hands on interaction and swim with the dolphins. Learn about conservation and the value of your participation during the shallow water portion of your experience, where you are seated waist-high on a submerged platform and the dolphins rest on your lap. Enjoy the excitement of swimming or floating in the deeper water where your interactions continue with opportunities to observe them underwater as they swim underwater as they swim under and around you in their ocean lagoon habitat. Guests will be provided with the required flotation vests, complimentary lockers, outdoor showers and post program changing rooms. An onsite photographer will take photos available for the same day viewing and purchase to ensure you can share your memories. Cruise along Bermuda’s west end shoreline toward an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Bermuda is home to over 200 square miles of the Atlantic’s most northerly fringe reef. Although beautiful, the reef is treacherous and there have been over 300 shipwrecks to prove it. On this trip you’ll visit two of Bermuda’s most famous shipwrecks, the Constellation and the Montana. They are home to an abundance of coral and fish and they are situated on the very edge of the surrounding reef.

The Captain will provide you with an overview on the history on Bermuda and some of its shipwrecks. Upon arrival to the site, you’ll be issued with snorkel equipment and given a safety briefing on how you may best enjoy up to one hour of safe snorkeling. Finally, enjoy one complimentary Rum Swizzle or soft drink on the return trip to your ship.

Explore the geological wonders and eerie formations in Crystal Caves and then spend hours relaxing at a series of beaches linked by footpaths and surrounded by a nature reserve.

After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a leisurely tender ride to St. George’s Island, the northernmost point of hook-shaped Bermuda. A short scenic drive will bring you to Crystal Caves, which were discovered in 1907 when a teenager tried to retrieve his cricket ball from a hole and found it led to a huge series of caverns.

You will have the opportunity to explore the wonders underground, which include a crystal-clear lake and a profusion of white stalactites eerily illuminated for added drama. Parts of the caves are accessed along a pontoon boardwalk that floats atop the lake, allowing a closer look at the geological formations underwater. As an alternative, you may remain above ground and meander the gardens and browse the gift shop.

. Continuing, you will soon arrive at the Clearwater Beach & Cooper’s Island Reserve, a secluded wedge of undeveloped land on Bermuda’s eastern end. The area contains six interconnected beaches, an idyllic setting to enjoy hours relaxing in the sun, doing whatever you please.

You may take a refreshing swim in the shallow waters, observe the marine life while snorkeling or simply lie back in a lounge chair and enjoy the serenity.

Your driver will pick-up shipside and shortly after exiting the Royal Naval Dockyard complex your drive takes you through quaint Somerset Village and over Somerset Bridge, the smallest drawbridge in the world. Admire Bermuda’s stunning natural beauty along the way, as you carry-on along breathtaking South Shore Road. Tour bus will pull-over at laybys dotted along this drive for photo opportunities and views of famous Horseshoe Bay and other pink sand beaches. Your tour then navigates the winding uphill drive to the base of Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, towering 120 feet above sea level, a great opportunity to photograph the 360 degree views of Bermuda. You will stop to take in the sweeping view of John Smith’s Beach, one of Bermuda’s legendary pink hued beaches.

Pass by the Botanical Gardens and drive to St. George’s, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have 30 minutes to explore or shop in this unique old town. The town center provides a favorite photograph opportunity in the Stocks, aside the Ducking Stool and at the steps of St. Peter's Church, the oldest Anglican church of the Western Hemisphere. Re-joining your buses the route takes a coastline drive along the North Shore to soon arrive at famed Front Street, the busiest place on the island and life and soul of the lively capitol, City of Hamilton. Time allows for shopping and browsing in the boutique style shops and souvenir store-fronts lining Hamilton Harborfront.

Admire the natural beauty and charming villages along the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island, which French explorer Samuel de Champlain named for its bare mountains. Not far out of Bar Harbor, you will enter Acadia National Park, the first national park created east of the Mississippi River. Be sure to look for birds along the way, as species ranging from bald eagles to scarlet tanagers live here. Ahead lie the palatial summer residences of Seal Harbor, the so-called “cottages” owned by the immensely wealthy. Northeast Harbor is another destination that is picture-perfect, especially with its many sailboats, yachts and lobster boats. You will be treated to a different waterfront perspective as you drive along Somes Sound, a deep lengthy waterway that an ancient glacier carved out of the landscape. Although not technically a fjord because its topography isn’t extremely vertical, the sound resembles the fjords commonly seen in Norway.
