Your full day excursion starts with a panoramic tour of Copenhagen including a photo stop at the ‘Little Mermaid’. During a panoramic drive through the city, you’ll see Amalienborg Palace – residence of the Royal Family – the colorful canal of Nyhavn, and Christiansborg Palace – seat of the Danish Parliament.

You’ll then travel to Malmo, Sweden across the Oresund Bridge. The bridge spans 5 1/2 miles, making it the world’s biggest cable-stay bridge. This marvel of engineering physically united the two countries for the first time in the year 2000.

Once in Malmo, the third largest city in Sweden, you’ll stop for photos at Sankt Petri Church – dating from the 14th century. See the main square with the royal statue of King Karl Gustav looking at City Hall, and the medieval Town Square, then enjoy free time to explore on your own, do some shopping or grab a bite.

Then head to the charming city of Lund, the oldest town in Sweden and a place that blends ancient with modern. Enjoy an orientation tour of the city, with a visit to Lund Cathedral, which for a long time, served as the religious center of northern Europe. The church contains many artefacts and features of great historical interest such as a unique astronomical clock and the original altar piece.

Need to Know:

Note: It’s very important to bring your passport along as you’ll be crossing a border. Should Lund Cathedral be closed for religious services, your guide will provide commentary on the outside and you might enter on your own.
