OVERVIEW
Spend the day relaxing on the beach doing whatever you please without a care in the world. A short walk will bring you to the Snorkel Park Beach Club on the tip of fishhook-shaped Bermuda that lies between the Great Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. One of the club’s ambassadors will get you settled at your reserved single lounger, which makes an ideal home base. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy however you wish. Stretch out on the lounger and bask in the sun. Walk along the beach at the edge of the shore and take a refreshing swim in the sea. Spend as much time as you want on your chosen activities, as there is no schedule to follow or need to rush. Included is a complimentary welcome rum swizzle and 3 hours complimentary use of a snorkel and mask. A beachfront restaurant is on site for dining on your own, and plenty of water sports such as kayaking are available with special pricing.

OVERVIEW

Zip through the streets and back alleys of historical St. George on an electric trike for an effortless exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site town. After a briefing on how to operate the trike and a trial run, you will be ready to take off on a one-of-a-kind journey through downtown. Pedaling or balancing isn’t required like on a conventional bike so you can concentrate on the sights along the way. The exact route will depend on the conditions and traffic, but you can expect to see many of the most historical landmarks. They include where the rum runners operated during Prohibition, the Unfinished Church – which was started in 1874 and is still only partially built – and the site of Joseph Rainey’s barbershop before he returned to America to become the first African-American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. The guide will describe the importance of each attraction during the 3-mile ride.

A stroll through the serene Norfolk Botanical Garden – the largest of its kind in Virginia – sets the tone for your exploration. You will have the opportunity to stroll about on your own and ride a trackless train through the collection of rare and indigenous plants. You can expect to pass landmarks such as the Chrysler Museum in the historic Ghent district and the Moses Myer House, one of the first brick buildings constructed after the American Revolution. The USS Wisconsin battleship is a must-see highlight that recalls Norfolk’s exceptional maritime history. Later, at famed Doumar’s, you will enjoy ice cream in a cone made on the original four-iron waffle machine that was introduced at the World’s Fair of 1904.

Join the “Jolly Roger”, Bermuda’s family friendly inshore fishing specialists and fish in style aboard a clean, comfortable, fully air-conditioned 57 foot custom fishing boat. Once onboard enjoy a scenic ride through Bermuda’s pristine inshore waters to reach your fishing grounds where the fun begins. You’ll be provided with light spinning tackle, bait and any instruction you may need to hook into some snappers, triggerfish, jacks or any other of the countless species that abound Bermuda’s waters. Remember inshore fishing locations mean very little chance of being sea sick. We also have a bar on board offering water, sodas, beer. Bring some enthusiasm and a little luck and your Captain and crew will take care of the rest to ensure that you have a memorable and exciting trip! For an additional cost, have your catch cooked at local restaurant in Dockyard. Guests who catch the fish are unable to take it onboard the ship for health and safety reasons. Due to the nature of the tour, guests should be aware that some pitching and motion should be expected on the open water.

OVERVIEW

Discover how Halifax responded to the sinking of the Titanic by visiting sites that associated with the tragedy. More than 120 mostly unidentified victims of the disaster are buried at Fairview Lawn Cemetery, their small black granite tombstones engraved with the date of the sinking – April 15, 1912. This cemetery stands as a solemn memorial to the tragedy, offering a poignant reminder of the loss felt worldwide. Services for many of the victims of the sinking were conducted at the Cathedral Church of All Saints. After admiring the façade of the church, you will continue to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which holds the world’s largest collection of wooden artifacts from the Titanic., which houses the world's largest collection of wooden artifacts from the Titanic, including an intricate deck chair and part of the ship's grand staircase, offering a poignant glimpse into the tragic voyage.

After crossing the world’s smallest drawbridge, you will travel past a lengthy nature reserve in surprisingly bucolic Somerset Village, around the Great Sound and on to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. Climb the spiral staircase of this whitewashed beacon – the world’s oldest cast-iron lighthouse – and you will be treated to 360° views of southern Bermuda. As you will notice while pausing at some of the loveliest beaches that rim the southern shores, they feature pink sand. The magnificent pastel hue comes from a combination of white limestone sediment and red single-cell organisms called foraminifera. Pastels also dominate Hamilton, Bermuda’s winsome capital, especially along Front Street. The colors beautifully complement the harbor’s turquoise water. During free time in Hamilton, you might shop in the one-of-a-kind stores or simply meander about enjoying the stylish ambiance.

Walk the cobblestone streets of thoroughly charming St. George, the oldest inhabited town of English origin in the New World. Because of that distinction, UNESCO named St. George a World Heritage site and it is well worth exploring. The guide will elaborate on the town’s intriguing past as you tour one landmark after another, beginning by pausing at Tucker House, a family home that remains virtually untouched since being built in 1750. You will then learn about the origins of the island and view the interior of the Towne Hall.
