View the absolute icons of New York from a water perspective while cruising the Hudson River and up close while driving through the heart of Manhattan. The Big Apple’s skyline will look especially dramatic from the boat as you will see One World Trade Center – the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere – looming in the background. Once you pass Lower Manhattan, you will cruise past Ellis Island and on to the Statue of Liberty, where the boat will pause long enough for you to take close-up photos of this inspiring beacon of freedom and hope. The bus will follow a route that also presents one landmark after another, including Times Square, the Empire State Building and Central Park, the urban oasis that famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted co-designed in 1858. You will hear insightful commentary throughout the tour and all the way to the airport.

During your scenic drive you’ll pass through the heart of downtown Miami and the towering skyscrapers of the financial district along Brickell Avenue. Explore Miami’s Cuban heritage as you make your way down ‘Calle Ocho’ and into the heart of Little Havana. Continue to the laid-back and charming Coconut Grove – once the home base of Pan Am. Drive through Coral Gables, known as ‘The City Beautiful’, an upmarket residential area and home to the University of Miami (Go Canes!) and the historic Biltmore Hotel. Take in the glitz and glamour of Miami Beach and the trendy South Beach (SoBe) and Art Deco District. Arriving at Bayside you’ll board your vessel for a 90-minute tour of Miami’s Biscayne Bay. Head off to Fisher Island for a closer look at the most exclusive and wealthiest private island in the USA. Cruising by Star Island and Palm Island you can peek into the backyards of current and past owners Gloria Estefan, P. Diddy, Naomi Campbell and even the winter home of Al Capone! Back at Bayside you are just a short drive to the Port.

Depart the Port of Miami by air-conditioned coach with a knowledgeable guide and drive for approximately one hour to enter Everglades National Park. This world renowned eco-system covers about 5,000 square miles and is home to most of Florida's alligators, snakes, black bear, wild pigs, over two hundred species of birds including herons, egrets, white ibis, anhingas, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, ospreys, hawks, vultures, eagles and more, plus the endangered and nocturnal Florida Panther - less than 100 remaining in the wild. Board your airboat for a thirty-minute exhilarating ride over this “River of Grass” and hopefully come face to face with a number of these different creatures. Afterwards enjoy the various crocodilian exhibits, visit the souvenir shop or perhaps try out the alligator nuggets in the snack bar. On the drive to the airport learn about the Miccosukee and the extremely wealthy Seminoles, the two Florida tribes of Native American Indians.

Enjoy a visit to the colonial city of Antigua, founded by Spanish conquistadors in the early 16th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll the charming cobblestone streets to visit the Central Plaza, the cathedral, Colonial Museum at the Jade Museum. Lunch is included at a typical Guatemalan restaurant. On the return drive to your ship, enjoy the scenery and great views of the Agua and Fuego (Water and Fire) volcanoes.

Your first stop will be the Aloe Factory for a brief overview of the Aloe plantation and a tour of the Aloe Museum.

Then drive through the countryside and discover Aruba’s flora and fauna in route to the Casibari Rock formation – huge diorite boulders found in the center of the island. Board your bus and continue on to the mysterious California Lighthouse for a short stop to enjoy a breathtaking view of the island. Experience the full wonder of crossing the Panama Canal by ferry boat on this daylong adventure. You’ll travel by ship's tender to the Gatun Yacht Club to board your transportation for the narrated drive through the isthmus to the small village of Gamboa. Here, you’ll board your ferry for your canal transit through two sets of locks.

You’ll cross the Gaillard Cut and enter the Pedro Miguel Locks, which will lower your vessel 28 feet on its way to the Pacific. Your boat will settle on Miraflores Lake and then you’ll sail over to the Miraflores Locks. Enjoy a light lunch during your scenic cruise of the lake and locks. Your canal experience ends at the port of Balboa where you'll board your transportation back to the ship.

Hop aboard the hemisphere's first transcontinental railroad and see the Panama Canal from the comfort of a deluxe 1938 vintage car. During your journey you’ll travel across the isthmus and see Gatun Lake. Then, visit Agua Clara Locks Observation Center (Expansion Locks) for an up close look at this engineering marvel.

You’ll board your transportation for a short drive to Colon and board this unique train. Reminiscent of the golden age of railway travel, the passenger cars feature luxurious wood paneling, tables, carpeted floors, air conditioning, large windows and open-air viewing decks. You’ll ride in a restored executive rail car with booth seating on one side and rows of two seats with small tables on the other. Your car has a restroom and shares a small open-air observation deck with the dome car and glass dome viewing area.

You’ll leave the Colon station on an approximately one-hour train ride to the Pacific terminus of the Panama Canal, passing Gatun Lake and the dense rainforest. During your railroad journey, your guide will provide commentary on the railroad, history and the canal, as you enjoy a light snack and beverage. Upon arrival in Panama City, you’ll transfer to the Agua Clara Locks Observation Center (Expansion Locks) where you’ll have the opportunity for a close up view.

The club is located just a short walk from the cruise terminal allowing you to maximize your time at Baby Beach, which is affectionately named for its compact size. It won’t take long to settle in and take full advantage of this idyllic tropical setting. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea or the swimming pool if you prefer freshwater. Bask in the sun in a comfortable lounge chair, stroll along the shore and relax in the shade of a coconut palm. What you do will be completely up to you. Kayaks and paddleboards are readily available if you wish to explore coastal areas beyond the beach. An open bar is included, plus you will be welcome to dine on your own at any of the club’s four restaurants and bars.

Experience the beauty and cultural richness of Baja on this excursion that features both scenic and historic sights. Board your transportation for a picturesque drive through the Baja California desert terrain. Your first stop is at a local glass factory, where you’ll watch artisans at work, learn their time-honored techniques and browse their colorful creations at the gift shop.

Continue on to the Mexican town of San Jose del Cabo and stroll on your own along the charming, tree-lined streets and enjoy the colorful murals and the historic town plaza. You’ll stop at one of the area's renowned restaurants for a complimentary beverage while you take in sweeping panoramic views of the Bay of Cabo San Lucas and El Arco in the distance.

Upon return to the port, visit the heart of Cabo San Lucas and learn about the original settlement and the native flora of the region. You may also request to be dropped off for independent sightseeing. A 10-minute walk returns you to the ship.
