As you meander through the most historical areas of Nassau, the guide will describe its often tumultuous past when pirates such as the notorious Blackbeard ruthlessly raided merchant ships in the surrounding waters. You too will cruise these seas on the way to the private island Salt Cay. As you will discover during a walking tour there, 18th-century pirates and privateers harvested salt from its lagoon to preserve their food. Be sure to notice the defensive tower and cannons that once guarded the entrance to Nassau Harbor. Once you settle in, you will be served an authentic Bahamian lunch along with an iconic Bahama Mama, a blend of fruit liqueurs and rum, typically garnished with a pineapple wedge and cherry. Afterwards, you can relax on the beach or shop if you prefer.

Zip through the turquoise seas off Charlotte Amalie in a powerful catamaran that will take you to one of the island’s premier spots for snorkeling. The one-level Powercat offers plenty of cushioned seats in the shade and sun so you can easily find a spot to your liking. Either way, the views will be wonderfully picturesque on the way to Buck Island. A different sort of tropical scenery awaits you beneath the water’s surface, as you will discover while snorkeling the island’s Turtle Cove. You might spot French angelfish, brilliantly colored damselfish and bright-blue tangs. Hawksbills and green turtles are prevalent and watching them gracefully swim by is a showstopper. OVERVIEW

Walk through a series of inland caves formed eons ago and admire the island’s natural beauty while driving along the coast. Pirates once used the Crystal Caves as hideouts and legend has it that treasures are still buried in their depths. While following a winding trail through the ancient caverns, you will see eerily illuminated stalactites and stalagmites, a glass-smooth underground lake and a cave whose ceiling collapsed ages ago. The guide will describe how the caves were formed and the wonders that lie within them. Back on the surface, you will settle in for a panoramic coastal drive, during which you will pause for photos at the Wreck of the Ten Sail memorial. It commemorates the convoy 10 British ships that wrecked on the reefs just offshore in 1794 in a massive maritime disaster. You will also stop to witness the coastal blowholes that spew ocean water as high as 20 feet into the air..

You'll kayak to a beach in the southern part of the Bonaire Marine Park - an exquisite snorkeling location with breathtaking coral and colorful fish. This day of sun and fun starts as you meet your guide at the pier for the short walk to a lovely beach, for your kayaking eco-adventure. First, you’ll take a moment for a safety briefing and paddling instructions for your two person kayak. Your stable, sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, life vests, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. You’ll enjoy Bonaire’s Caribbean shore as you kayak over shallow water, filled with colorful sea life.

Keep an eye out for pelicans and turtles! Two guides will accompany you all the way. The bay is always protected from the elements. Your destination is a beach in the southern part of the Bonaire Marine Park - an exquisite snorkeling location, excellent for all skill levels. Bonaire has a long history of marine preservation and is world renowned for its snorkeling. Pull your kayak right onto the sandy beach, and moments later you’ll be slipping into the warm water with your snorkel gear and enjoying the breathtaking coral and the many colorful tropical reef fish. All of your snorkel equipment is provided, but if you have brought an underwater camera, this would be a great time to use it! Afterwards, relax on the beach and refresh yourself with some provided bottled water before kayaking back along the scenic route to the pier.

Enjoy an insider’s view of local chocolate and tequila production as a prelude to exploring the wonders underwater in a semi-submersible. At the Mayan Cacao Company, you will see how chocolate is made from cacao, a process that dates back to the ancient Mayas, who drank chocolate for ceremonial and medicinal purposes as far back as 500 BC. After sampling some creamy chocolate, you will proceed to a tequila tasting seminar for a tasting that will present the historical and cultural importance of tequila on the Yucatan peninsula. An entirely different perspective of Cozumel awaits you just offshore on Paradise Reef, where you will explore the underwater world in a semi-submersible. Although the vessel’s viewing windows are only a few feet below the water’s surface, the sights will be extraordinary. You can expect to see a riot of brilliantly colored fish and perhaps hawksbill turtles and green moray eels.

With just a few helpful hints from our staff, you'll be able to paddle the lagoon, offering views of local wildlife, flora and fauna. Have young children? OVERVIEW

Race through the wilds of southwestern Antigua in a 4x4 vehicle on an off-road adventure that includes time to relax at a secluded beach. After a briefing and demonstration to familiarize you with the open-air buggy – a 2-seat Utility Terrain Vehicle – you will head off caravan-style into the countryside in Saint Mary Parish. You can either drive or ride along as a passenger. Either way, it will be a thrill, especially once you leave the paved highway. The circuitous route will take you through fields and farmland, over rolling hills and into marshy swamps where the mud will be flying high off the tires. Along the way, you will pause at particularly scenic outlooks such as the cliffside one near Old Road Village that overlooks the sea and the island of Montserrat. In time, you will arrive at a remote beach to relax and take a refreshing swim if you wish.

Tear through the jungle canopy high above the forest floor on a series of ziplines, stopping every so often on towering platforms that will offer extraordinary views. The venue for your adventure will be Hacienda Campo Rico, a former sugar plantation that blankets thousands of acres of subtropical forest. Following an orientation that will allow you to maximize the experience, you will walk to the hilltop starting point. The view from this elevated perch will be magnificent, but only a hint of what’s to come. After being harnessed in and stepping off the platform into thin air, you will race through the tree canopy on a series of ziplines, each one a thrill in its own way. It will be an absolutely exhilarating experience as you fly through the air as high as 200 feet above the ground. You will pass over glassy lagoons, fields of plantain and pastureland before the last zipline ends at the Mojito Bar.

It’s Time To Play at CHUKKA Ocean Outpost, Seville Jamaica - featuring nature adventures in the midst of one of the most intriguing archaeological sites on the island. Gear up, hop on your ATV and get ready for a unique and unforgettable ride through the rugged dirt trails of this 16th century Spanish colonial settlement and 17th century British plantation. Your knowledgeable guide will point out a collection of artifacts that depict various aspects of the life of the Tainos, Africans and Europeans. Continue towards the coastline with breathtaking ocean views and take a moment to let our photographers capture this perfect photo-op. Upon arrival at the stables, you'll be given a briefing and issued a protective helmet. Then, you'll be assigned a horse according to your skill and size. Your tour will head east at a gentle pace for about 20 minutes, until you reach a beautiful, secluded beach of Cas En Bas, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Riding along the beach is everyone's dream and your guides will help you take photos at each picturesque spot. Experienced riders need only ask, and the guides will take you for a canter along the beach. Those wishing to swim with their horse are assisted by the guides or you can choose to swim alone. After this delightful tour you'll head back to the stables with fond memories.

Enjoy the thrill of racing through the tree canopy on a dozen ziplines and then completely unwind on a beautiful beach nearby. You will soar through the treetops along a spectacularly scenic route that is nearly two miles long. Each zipline is exhilarating in its own way with the longest spanning 1,300 feet and highest starting more than 100 feet high above the jungle floor. You can expect it to be a nonstop adrenaline-pumping experience, quite the contrast to your time on West Bay Beach. The stretch of sand fronting the Paradise Beach Hotel will be yours to enjoy however you please. Feel free to do nothing more ambitious than relax in sun without a care in the world. The water there is typically calm, crystal-clear and ideal for a refreshing swim in the sea. If you wish to dine on your own, plenty of restaurants are in easy walking distance.
