Enjoy your day visiting many of the island's most popular attractions. Your start with a drive around Charlottetown, and you’ll be enlightened about the history of this little town that became the "Birthplace of Confederation". Make your way along the Trans-Canada Highway, through towns and villages, to the Confederation Bridge. This marvel of engineering spans the Northumberland Strait connecting Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. You'll have ample time for picture taking, browsing for souvenirs, or sampling some local treats.
You’ll continue on to the Anne of Green Gables Museum at Silver Bush where descendants of Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, await your arrival and invite you to the old family farm. Enjoy a visit with Anne and a light picnic lunch. You’ll also visit the Anne of Green Gables National Historic Site, the house made famous in the stories of Anne. On your return drive enjoy a tour of the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, along with a sample.
