Dogsledding On Mendenhall Glacier Via Helicopter

Note: Flight time is approximately 30 minutes with 55-60 minutes at the dog camp, which includes about 20-25 minutes of active dog sledding. The remaining time is for transportation, a safety briefing, outfitting of glacier boots and aircraft assignment. No bags, ipads, tablets, purses, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags or GoPro extension poles allowed on the flight. This tour is not offered in late September. Glacier boots are provided at the heliport. Infants up to and including the day prior to their second birthday can be considered a lap child and should be added to the parent's weight they will be sitting on and are at no cost. On or after their 2nd birthday, the child is required by FAA to have his/her own seat and will be charged accordingly. Due to aircraft weight and balance limitations, the flight company charges an additional rate for passengers that weigh 250 lbs. or more fully clothed. Lift buses are not able to accommodate Motorized Scooters, however manual wheelchairs can be used.
