During your visit to a local plantation, you’ll learn how elephants are utilized to help locals perform their daily tasks on the island and watch in amazement as they perform a variety of acts for you.
Find yourself learning how locals use monkeys to pick ripe coconuts as you attend their impressive show and gain an understanding on how this centuries-old tradition certainly comes in handy for Ko Samui, the Island of Coconuts. You’ll have the opportunity to observe the preparation of Thai cuisine during a Thai cooking demonstration and learn how Thai papaya salad, the most popular dish in the country, is made. See a demonstration of rubber tapping and how the product is extracted from rubber trees in its natural form before being processed. Then is off to a coconut local home factory, to see a local home factory and the process of peeling and exacting coconut milk, also see more products from coconut.
You’ll enjoy a traditional Thai lunch in a local beachside restaurant, and a short visit to the Big Buddha Temple. You’ll also stop at the impressive Na Muang Waterfall.
