Soar above a tropical paradise so stunning that it has gained movie star status. This exciting tour combines exploration by helicopter and by land. The island’s golden beaches and lush vegetation have appeared in many films, including Dragon Fly, South Pacific, Jurassic Park and Blue Hawaii.
A helicopter takes you on an approximately 45-minute flight that includes narration on the culture, history and myths linked to the spectacular scenery you'll see. You’ll have a bird's-eye view of magnificent waterfalls, majestic canyons and inaccessible beaches. Rain swells the waterfalls, and Mount Namolokama has many tumbling down all the way from its 3,400-foot summit. Fly over Waimea Canyon with its array of rainbow colors, the scenic Na Pali coast, and – weather permitting – Mount Waialeale, one of the wettest spots on earth and a sacred site in the Hawaiian culture.
You'll make a stop at the picturesque Kilauea Lighthouse, built in 1913 and at Hanalei Bay for an unforgettable view, made famous in the movie, South Pacific. A boxed lunch is included.
