Take a ride to your boat and cruise to one of the local snorkeling spots of Curaçao to snorkel its waters where marine life is frequently spotted. On the way there, the crew will describe the characteristics of Curaçao’s most commonly seen marine biodiversity and the variety of coral and underwater life found around the island. Although these species are endangered due to factors such as loss of habitat, pollution and poaching, sea life can still be spotted off some of Curaçao’s coastline. Snorkeling near one of these magnificent creatures as it gracefully swims by is an experience that you will not soon forget. The crew will offer instruction on how best to behave in the water when close to the delicate aquatic ecosystem. The water is also teeming with tropical fish, many of them incredibly colorful.

• Listen to commentary from the crew explaining the threats to these endangered species.


HELPFUL HINTS
• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing.
• Bring a swimsuit, hat, towel and sunscreen.
• Wear flat comfortable walking shoes.

Not recommended for guests with physical limitations. Comfortable, sturdy shoes are recommended. Tours with this activity level involve physical exertion for extended periods of time; and can involve uneven or steep terrain or swimming in a light current. Recommended only for physically fit and adventurous travelers. Beach water clarity can vary throughout the year. This tour is not recommended for guests with mobility limitations, and guests who don't have swimming abilities. Restroom facilities are available near the dock. Fins are not included.
