The owner will make a presentation and comments about the olive tree, its products, origin and manufacturing processes, the olive tree of Nice, Afterwards, comparative tasting of 6 different extra virgin olive oils. You will also have a tasting of two varieties of olives: the little olive of Nice (Caillette) and the large green olive of Aix-en Provence (Picholine), followed by all explanation on the methods of making the oil, anecdotes from Provence, on the use of these products in cookery, with suggestion on food and olive combination. Next destination, your bus takes you to one of the preferred localities for living is the charming village Valbonne. The medieval village created in the 16th century in the middle of an oak tree forest. Built like a well-protected square, Valbonne offers tiny pedestrian streets with shadowed squares covered galleries, peaceful fountains. A wonderful little town to stroll through little boutiques, galleries and interesting shops, situated out of the touristic roads. Enjoy time at leisure before driving back to Cannes.
