The Kennedy Space Center provides a day of discovery for the entire family as you experience the exciting past, present and future of America’s space program. Your tour begins with a short ride to Kennedy Space Center, where upon arrival, you can participate in the Shuttle Launch Experience which replicates the sights, sounds and feelings of a shuttle launch and orbiting Earth aboard a Space Shuttle. Guest crew members strap in and go vertical for launch in a one-of-a-kind motion-based simulator, the only realistic simulation of a launch ever created.

The five-minute experience sequence culminates with a breathtaking view of Earth from space. You’ll then board an exclusive coach for a tour of NASA’s restricted areas. Ride out to the Space Shuttle launch pads, closer than other guests are allowed and see the vehicle assembly building and visit the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Here you’ll relive the launch of the massive Saturn V rocket and enjoy a front-row seat as man lands on the moon. Upon conclusion of your personal tour of Kennedy Space Center, you’ll be transported by motorcoach to the Orlando International Airport.

Spend hours relaxing however you please at Cocoa Beach, a beautiful stretch of sand just south of Cape Canaveral. It won’t take long to reach the beach, so you can maximize your time there. You might spend the entire time simply basking in the sun, strolling along the lengthy coastline and taking a refreshing swim in the Atlantic Ocean whenever the mood strikes. What you do will be completely up to you. Cocoa Beach is known for its excellent surf so you will likely see surfers riding the waves just off shore. All sorts of amenities are in the immediate vicinity, so there are plenty of options besides stretching out in the sun. You might drop by a casual beachfront restaurant and dine on your own, enjoy an icy-cold tropical drink, browse the surf shops and rent a standup paddleboard. Cocoa Beach couldn’t be more laid-back and inviting, which makes for an immensely relaxing day.

OVERVIEW

Drive a sleek Polaris Slingshot around the Space Coast, stopping along the way for photos and to enjoy some of the area’s most popular attractions. The Slingshot is an open-top three-wheel roadster that’s a cross between a motorcycle and a convertible. The vehicle is a thrill to drive and you can expect heads to turn as you zip down the road caravan-style behind the guide. Learn to surf at Cocoa Beach - Surf Capital of the World! You’ll be briefed on ocean safety and marine life awareness. Your experienced instructor will teach you how to manage your surfboard on land and in the water which will get you up and surfing safely in no time. Who knows, you may be able to ‘hang ten’ before the day is over!

Come see dolphins, manatees, and the diversity of life paired with beautiful scenery. Begin with an easy paddle en route to the kayak launch site. Your tour guide will explain the significance of this endangered backwater estuary. Paddle the mangrove as osprey soar overhead, and cross expansive grass flats. Perhaps see the lagoon's top predator- the dolphin- working the flats. Mangroves and sea grass beds create an environment very conducive to the marine life, which supports the osprey, dolphins and other animals. More than 4,000 animal and plant species such as manatees, stingrays, sea turtles, seahorses, 700 species of fish and 310 species of birds, call the Indian River Lagoon "home".

Escape into a wonderland of wildlife as you discover the 1000 Islands of Cocoa Beach. This eco-tourism cruise will gently glide through the saltwater marsh and extensive network of mangrove tunnels in the Indian River Lagoon. The numerous islands and channels create an elaborate maze that covers nearly 340 acres, and the area is home to more than 4,000 plant and animal species. Your guide will provide narration while navigating the waterways so you can relax as you explore the endangered estuary's tranquil waters. See herds of manatees, watch eagles, ospreys, and grey blue heron soar overhead, and pass wading birds roosting in the mangroves. Playful bottle-nosed dolphins will likely join you on your journey as well as schools of redfish and sea trout. See how the locals live as you float past their waterfront homes that line the canals.

Tear through the wilds of Gatorland adventure park in an off-road monster vehicle that will bring you goose-bump close to throngs of massive American alligators. The thrills will begin as soon as you board the open-air big-tire vehicle and race off into areas of Florida scrubland that few people see otherwise. You will follow a dirt path over rolling hills, through deep mud, past an alligator graveyard, and on to a pond absolutely crawling with alligators. The vehicles are named after legendary crocodilians that once roamed Gatorland, such as Bonecrusher, a 15-foot-long alligator that tipped the scales at more than 1,000 pounds. You will also be free to explore other sections of the park, where you can observe baby alligators, albino alligators, and leucistic alligators, which are only partially white. All sorts of other animals are also on display in areas that resemble their natural habitats, including American crocodiles, Florida panthers, Amazon parrots, and Aldabra Giant Tortoises.

Learn the history of Port Canaveral. From the pier head over to the Air Force Space and Missile History Center while hearing the history of Port Canaveral, and learn where the spirit of space exploration began. The history center features exhibits highlighting every launch complex on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. You will then head over to Jetty Park via The Cove. The Cove is considered the dining and entertainment district of Port Canaveral. Jetty Park is its own secluded, tropical paradise that the locals love, and people from all over the world come to see for themselves. You will then travel to World Famous Ron Jon Surf shop in Cocoa Beach. Founded in 1959, it is the largest surf shop in the world. You will have shopping time for souvenirs before heading to Florida Key Lime Pie Company, which is steps away from Ron Jon’s. From the brightly colored paintings to tasty treats that tantalize your taste buds, The Florida Key Lime Pie Company is something to be experienced. It offers more than just the best key lime pie and gourmet tropical cheesecakes on the Space Coast. It is considered 'Your All-Florida store' offering a fascinating and extensive line of Florida made products. Key lime snacks and samples will be chosen specifically for your enjoyment. From there you will head back to your ship.

Transfer in air-conditioned comfort to the sprawling entertainment complex ICON Park Orlando and spend hours there enjoying the attractions that interest you the most. For the ultimate view of the surrounding area, you can ride on The Wheel, a 400-foot-tall Ferris wheel that soars high above the complex as it spins around and around. Then there is the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, a marine attraction with Florida’s only 360° ocean tunnel. Other attractions within ICON Park include the wax museum Madame Tussauds, the mind-blowing exhibits in the Museum of Illusions, and the exhilarating Orlando StarFlyer, the world’s largest swing ride.
