Norwegian Cruise Line Reinforces Sales Strategy in Asia With New Key Appointment

Nicholas Lim appointed as General Manager Sales Asia

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovator in global cruise travel with a 53-year history of breaking boundaries, is strengthening its sales force in Asia and reinforcing its commitment to the region with the appointment of Nicholas Lim as the Company’s new General Manager Sales Asia. In his new role, Nicholas Lim will work on maximising the cruise line’s existing sales efforts in the region, while simultaneously developing new business strategies to further grow NCL’s footprint in Asia.

Mr. Lim, who joined NCL on November 16, is based in the company’s Singapore office. He reports into Ben Angell, Vice President and Managing Director of NCL Asia Pacific, who states: “We are excited to welcome Nicholas to the team. His proven track record in opening new geographical markets and building successful brands will be invaluable to us as we look to capitalize on new market opportunities and continuously grow our share in Asia.”

Prior to his appointment at NCL, Mr. Lim was President (Asia) of Trafalgar Travel and Managing Director of the Travel Corporation, where he played a crucial role in helping the company increase their presence in Asia while mapping out new strategic plans for growth across all market segments in the region. Earlier in his career, he also served key roles at Wotif.com Pte Ltd, M Hotel (Millennium and Copthorne) and Threesixty Communications (S) Pte Ltd.
