Harvard, Skywalk & Quincy Market
hrs Estimate Duration
Visit three of Boston's most spectacular sights - Harvard Square, Faneuil Hall Market Place and the famous Skywalk at the top of the Prudential Building for a panoramic view of the city. Following a scenic drive through Boston to Cambridge, disembark your coach in Harvard Square, where you’ll have an opportunity to stroll past the hallowed halls of America’s oldest and most prestigious university. Continue to the city center to enjoy a bird’s eye view from the Skywalk of the Prudential Building offering a sweeping 360 degree panoramic perspective of Boston. Situated on the 50th floor, Boston lies below you while you stroll around the Skywalk listening to an audio presentation taking in everything from the Charles River to Fenway Park, Beacon Hill and beyond.
You’ll then make your way to Faneuil Hall to enjoy some time on your own to shop and explore. It has served as a marketplace and a meeting hall since 1742. It was the site of several speeches by Samuel Adams, James Otis and others encouraging independence from Great Britain and is now part of the Boston National Historic Park. Today, it's also part of a larger festival marketplace including North Market, Quincy Market and South Market featuring over 250 shops, boutiques and restaurants. You’ll have approximately one hour of free time to enjoy on your own before returning to the ship.
