hrs Estimate Duration
This tour was awarded Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence for three consecutive years - 2011, 2012 and 2013! The tropical cove sets the stage for an unbelievable day where you’ll train the dolphins. You’ll begin with a knowledgeable trainer, who will show you every aspect of what might be, the best job in the world! You’ll learn to feed the dolphins and train them using hand signals and positive reinforcement. Visit the fish house and lab where the team prepares the dolphins’ meals. The trainers will teach you about basic husbandry, dolphin training techniques, anatomy and more.
Next, on a waist-deep submerged platform you’ll get a chance to try out your hand signaling techniques. During this hands-on experience, you can ask the dolphin to show off their behaviors such as, kisses, noises and spectacular jumps! Pucker up for a kiss and a friendly “fin shake”. Once you’ve mastered training the dolphins, enjoy a swim alongside them. Freely interact with these beautiful creatures and enjoy a thrilling dolphin ride
After your dolphin experience, relax and take full advantage of everything the facility has to offer. Stop by the palapa restaurant for lunch and cool off with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Kids and adults alike will love Serenity Cove, a safe inlet where you can snorkel and swim through an underwater aquarium filled with tropical fish, rays and starfish! Head out to the ocean for kayaking and or paddle boarding. This program includes all food, beverages, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding.
