    hrs Estimate Duration

Explore several of Guernsey's iconic attractions that include Sausmarez Manor's beautiful garden..

Departing from the pier, you'll drive directly up to Sausmarez Manor where you will view over 150 sculptures which are displayed throughout the Manor's woodland garden. Within this large, rambling, exotic garden, the sculptures provide an ever changing facet to the lush tropical feel of the setting. The plants and trees here have been allowed to thrive naturally around the central lake, and provide an extraordinarily rich abundance of color. This is especially true in the Spring, when the camellias are in full bloom..

Following a walk around the grounds of the Manor house, you will re-board your coach and travel through the country lanes of St. Saviours to Bruce Russell's Gold and Silversmith's work shop, which is set in five acres of prize-winning landscaped gardens. The modern tree sculpture in the running stream and the little waterfall leading to an ornamental Koi pool all add to the ambience of this idyllic spot. There is even an original granite cider press. While here, watch artisans at work and admire a variety of their handmade products. .

Leaving the Goldsmith's shop, your coach will make a short stop at The Little Chapel on your way back to the pier. The Little Chapel is thought to be the smallest consecrated church in the world and was built as a labor of love by Brother Dodat whose plan was to create a miniature version of the famous grotto and basilica at Lourdes. Beautifully decorated in mosaics of seashells, pebbles and donated pieces of Wedgewood and Royal Doulton china, you'll no doubt enjoy this charming local attraction..
