Lobsters & Lighthouses
hrs Estimate Duration
Your guide will meet you at the cruise ship pavilion and take you on an approximately 10 minute walk to board your vessel. You'll head out to the great North Atlantic, while listening to lively commentary about Halifax Harbor as you prepare to help the Captain and crew pull up a lobster trap. The crew will inform you about lobster fishing in Nova Scotia and other interesting facts. You may even get to hold a live lobster!
Your boat will then make its way towards the first of two or three (dependent on weather) lighthouses to learn about the history and importance of these structures. Your tour will end with a Maritime lobster feast at Murphy’s Restaurant. Your guide will even show you the right way to crack a lobster.
