The New Yorker Helicopter Tour
Take an exhilarating helicopter ride over New York City, admiring landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Central Park and so many other icons.
After departing from the pier, you will soon arrive at the heliport and board a helicopter for an unforgettable ride over the Big Apple. As the helicopter’s blades begin to whirl, the excitement will build - a feeling that will only increase with take off.
Before long, you will be soaring above the city enjoying a bird’s-eye view of New York’s most recognizable landmarks. They include architectural icons such as the Art Deco-style Chrysler Building and beautiful natural attractions such as Central Park, which looks entirely different from the air than it does at ground level.
You will also be treated to a unique perspective of Ellis Island and the nearby Statue of Liberty in the Hudson River. Dedicated in 1886, the copper statue of Liberty Enlightening the World was often the first sight of America for so many immigrants over the years.
Just up the East River, you will fly by the Brooklyn Bridge, which was the world’s longest suspension bridge when it opened in 1883. Other sights that you may see during the flight include South Street Seaport, Greenwich Village and the World Financial Center.
After landing at the heliport, you will transfer back to the pier.

Note: This tour includes limited walking/standing; however, participants must negotiate a high step with limited assistance in order to enter/exit the helicopter. Actual flight duration is 13 – 15 minutes. The tour is not available to wheelchair guest and may not be suitable for those who have a fear of heights or suffer from motion sickness. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Casual clothing to include a light sweater or jacket; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Children under 2 years of age will have to sit on a parent`s lap using the regular seatbelt. No seatbelt extensions are available. Children over 2 years old will have to use a normal seat. Each helicopter can hold up to 6 guests and the maximum allowable weight per person should not exceed 280 lbs. Guests over this weight may need to be accommodated in another helicopter. No handbags or cell phones are allowed are allowed in the helicopter; however, lockers are available at the Heliport. Cameras and video recorders are allowed on board. Helicopter tour will be run weather permitting. This tour may be cancelled at the last minute due to Air Traffic restrictions. Duration of the tour may vary by approximately one hour due to prevailing traffic and weather conditions as well as any special events taking place in the city. To avoid traffic congestion, the order of the sites viewed may vary.
