Compare the best of Recife’s sights with a look at the hillside town of Olinda, the historic cradle of Brazilian culture.

Your exploration of Recife will begin aboard an air-conditioned motor coach. After journeying across graceful bridges, you’ll then enter the splendid Golden Chapel that is part of the Convent and Church of Saint Anthony. Its intricate Baroque design, covered in gold leaf, makes it one of the most beautiful and historic examples of religious art in Brazil. The church also houses a variety of religious artifacts.

Ride along the famous Boa Viagem beachfront as you take a scenic drive along Brazil’s northeast coats.

Later, you’ll pass the imposing Governor’s Mansion and St. Isabel Theater.

Pastel-colored stuccoes houses and meticulously restored churches line the shady streets of your next destination, the 16th-century colonial town of Olinda. At local square, you’ll leave your motor coach and board a minivan to traverse the narrow winding streets of this historical center.

Olinda’s main square, the Alto da Sé lies on the crest of the town’s highest hill. A remarkably well-preserved colonial city, founded in 1534, UNESCO has declared Olinda a world historical monument.

Once there, you’ll leave the minivan for 30-minute exploration on foot at the Alto da Sé and visit the Sé Cathedral. Here you will have breathtaking views of Olinda and photo opportunity, while complimentary coconut water is served. While walking, take a moment to peruse its colorful Portuguese tiles and woodcarvings, which are adorned with gold leaf.

Return to your minivan and drive back to the square, where your motor coach awaits to return you to the pier.

This wonderful combination tour allows you to explore Bora Bora’s magical lagoon on board a covered boat, snorkel and relax on a pristine beach. You’ll have excellent photo opportunities of the hidden, eastern side of Bora Bora, so be sure to bring your camera.

Cruise from Vaitape Bay, past beautiful Raititi Point and the enchanting islets of Motu Toopua and Motu Tapu. During your cruise, you'll be treated to some wonderful views on the crystal clear lagoon as well as the island highest peak, Mount Otemanu. Upon reaching the motu (coral islet), you'll enjoy a typical island beach break and refreshments. Relax, sunbathe, or dip your toes in the shallow waters.

Since snorkeling from the motu is limited due to shallow waters, a snorkel stop is done at another location during the tour.

Journey back into Visby's past during a walking tour through this Medieval city, and a visit to Gotland's Fornsalen Museum.

Visby, the Capital of Gotland, boasts a swashbuckling history that began in the Viking Age, and was followed by a flourishing Medieval period and the growth of the powerful Hanseatic League. Today, however, Visby is best known as the Town of Roses and Ruins, and one of Sweden's most popular vacation resort destination.

From the inner harbor proceed to Almedalen, the site of the Hanseatic Harbor. See the powder tower, the oldest remaining structure in Visby and nearby, stroll through the lovely Botanical Gardens. Continue your walk through the narrow winding, medieval streets to the evocative ruins of one of the medieval churches. Visit the Cathedral of St. Mary's which at one time belonged to the Germans and is the only one of the town's many medieval Churches still in use. Via Stora Torget, the main square, continue to Gotland's History Museum. In the museum, see the world's largest Viking Silver hoard and get an in-depth insight into all aspects of life on Gotland through the ages.

Enjoy an enlightening overview of Buenos Aires by visiting landmarks ranging from its most politically important square to its most characteristic neighborhoods.

After departing from the pier, you will soon arrive at Plaza de Mayo, arguably the most famous square in Argentina. Its name refers to the revolution that began nearby in May 1810 and led to Argentina’s independence from Spain.

Some of the surrounding buildings are just as celebrated. President Juan Peron and his wife Eva, more affectionately known as Evita, delivered numerous speeches from the balcony of Casa Rosado, the executive mansion. You will also see the glorious Metropolitan Cathedral, which is adorned with frescoes and elaborate artwork.

Then, it’s on to the neighborhood La Boca to view El Caminito, a street that is an open-air museum of sorts full of brightly colored buildings. Some claim the tango originated here around 1870, and tango dancers are often seen performing impromptu in the streets.

While La Boca is a working class neighborhood, Barrio Norte is the most affluent. That becomes immediately apparent as you drive through it.

Later, on the way back to the pier, you will drive through leafy Palermo, the city’s largest neighborhood. Depending on the route, you may pass the zoo and botanical garden, while enjoying a candid look at daily life in Buenos Aires.

Explore marvelous Conwy Castle, considered by many to be the most impressive of all the Welsh castles. Boasting massive towers and a well-preserved wall that soars to an imposing height, the Castle is truly an awesome sight to behold.

Your journey takes you across the island of Anglesey and a short distance along the North Wales coastline to the old town of Conwy and magnificent Conwy Castle, one of the finest medieval fortifications in the United Kingdom. Its two fortified gateways and eight stone towers sit on a rocky outcrop, making the castle look almost impenetrable. Although ruined now, remains dramatically striking as it stands by the River overlooking a somewhat peculiarly designed pair of bridges that bring the road and railway into the town. Built by Edward I in the 1280s, the castle is so extraordinary that it has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From the castle runs the original medieval town wall which is 1400 yards long and has an average height of 30 feet. This was built at the same time as the castle and is the best example in Britain of the defense works introduced by Edward I. Conwy's old wall is virtually intact all around the town, fortified with 21 towers and 3 gateways. As a result, Conwy town center has never been over-run by modern development (all of which has happened outside the walls) and therefore, retains a wonderful ambiance.

The castle tour makes a fine introduction to your exploration of the village of Conwy, where you will have some free time to wander through streets that remain essentially the same as they were in medieval times or join the guide for a walking tour.

Enjoy a wonderful ride in the clear lagoon of Moorea with great views of the island's sharp mountain peaks, lush green valleys and picturesque coastal shoreline, then enjoy a typical island lunch, relax on a delightful beach or enjoy the warm tropical waters of French Polynesia.

Boarding your boat at the pier, you'll set-off across the turquoise waters of Moorea, en route to a gorgeous white sandy islet that is surrounded by crystal clear water. During your visit, you can relax and soak up the sun, or enjoy some great snorkeling and discover Moorea's amazing underwater world with its colorful fish, flora and fauna. There may even be some inquisitive stingrays to welcome you and in exchange for a piece of fish, they just might delight you by dancing gracefully around you.

Head to the west of Mainland, Orkney's largest island. En-route, you will pass through the gentle rolling landscape of Orkney and into the Neolithic Heartland of Orkney; an area designated as a World Heritage Site due to its wealth of pre-historic archaeology. Passing the Standing Stones of Stenness (photo-stop if time permits), you will stop at the Ring of Brodgar; a huge ceremonial circle of stones dating back almost 5,000 years. Next, continue on to the 5,000-year-old village of Skara Brae, beautifully interpreted in the new visitor center. See the remarkable dwellings that were revealed from beneath the sand dunes by storms only 150 years ago. There will also be time to visit the nearby manor house of Skaill House, built in 1620 on top of an ancient graveyard.

Your excursion has you following the coast of Scapa Flow, where you will hear some of the wartime stories, which make this one of the best-known stretches of water in the world - the site where the interned German naval fleet scuttled itself in the month of June 1919.
