This comprehensive half-day tour gives you a great overview of one of the most diverse and exciting cities in the world as you pass by many of New York's most famous landmarks.

Once you have boarded your coach at the pier, you can sit back and relax, enjoying an informative narrated tour as you travel along the avenues and streets of New York. Some of the sights you will see are Times Square, known throughout the world as the "great white way." This traditional center of the theater district has 40 theaters, including 22 landmark theaters. You will also drive past Central Park; the famous Radio City Music Hall, home of "Rockettes" and Rockefeller Center. Travel along Fifth Avenue, famous for shopping, and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Take in the sight of the striking Empire State Building, Herald Square and the world-famous Macy's.

Continuing on, you'll make your way through Greenwich Village, the traditional refuge of artists with its charming townhouses, jazz clubs and tree-lined streets. From here, it's on through SoHo, gaining its nickname as the area "South of Houston Street." Finally, you will have a chance to view Manhattan's most thriving ethnic neighborhood, Chinatown, as well as the hustle and bustle of Little Italy, both part of New York's remarkable ethnic diversity. Your trek through the city includes a drive by Wall Street and the financial district as well.

During the course of your exploration, three photo stops will be made, one at Battery Park for a glimpse of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, rising majestically in the distance. The second stop will be the St. Paul's Chapel, where President George Washington paused to pray after his inauguration. Presently St. Paul's contains exhibits and memorabilia relating to the 9/11 attacks. You will then walk to the third stop at the 9/11 Memorial, which consists of 2 massive pools set within the original footprints of the Twin Towers with 30-foot waterfalls cascading down their sides. Take some time to reflect and pay your respects to those that lost their lives there and view New York’s tallest building, One World Trade.

After a truly memorable time spent discovering the most noteworthy sites in this incredible city, your coach will return you to the pier where your tour concludes.

The Statue of Liberty is one of the world's most renowned images and one of America's most beloved landmarks. This delightful tour allows you to stand at the base of 'Lady Liberty' and learn all about the history of this iconic Statue. Your tour also includes a visit to the Ellis Island Museum where you will surely catch the spirit of the important role this island played in American history.

Boarding your coach at the pier, it's a brief transfer to Battery Park, which lies at the Southern tip of Manhattan. Here, you will board the ferry and take in the sites of New York Harbor, including beautiful views of the city, Brooklyn and its famous Bridge, Staten Island, New Jersey and the Manhattan skyline in the distance. Your first stop will be Liberty Island for a walk around the base of the magnificent Statue of Liberty (the tour does not include an interior visit of the Statue). Your tour guide will provide detailed information about 'Lady Liberty', its completion in 1886 and its unique history. Walk through Lower Manhattan taking in landmarks such as the 9/11 Memorial before zipping to the top of the One World Observatory for unforgettable view of New York.

After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a scenic drive through Lower Manhattan, finally arriving at Battery Park. With the Statue of Liberty in the distance, you will begin a guided walking tour, passing icons of the Financial District, such as the Wall Street Bull.

Upon reaching the 9/11 Memorial, you will have time to contemplate this tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. The names of the victims are inscribed on bronze panels along the edge of the two memorial reflecting pools, which sit within the footprints of the former Twin Towers. It’s a powerful reminder of the events of 9/11; one you will not soon forget.

You will then enter the One World Observatory, the tallest building in the United States. It soars to a height of 1,776 feet in honor of the year 1776, when America was founded. After watching a short movie about how the building was conceived and constructed, you will zip upward to the 102nd floor in a high-speed elevator. The ride takes less than a minute and it’s exhilarating. So is the 360-degree view of New York City from the top of the observatory.

In time, you will descend to ground level and meet your coach for drive back to the pier via a scenic route.
