Your experience begins with a refreshing natural drink as your Seaguard guide welcomes you. Each of our Seaguards is a highly trained expert on issues relating to dolphins and the oceans. After a brief orientation where you will receive your towel & locker key for its use during your stay at the facility, follow your Seaguard to embark on an ocean voyage and explore the depths of the sea alongside a dolphin friend.

Your Seaguards will then guide you to the dolphin habitat as your 40-minute swim begins in the deeper waters of our lagoons. The trainer will give you insight into how dolphins communicate and behave.

Next you will communicate with the dolphins in their own personalized way. Put on your dark-lens goggles and float face-up in the water. With your ears submerged, you’ll be able to hear first-hand how the dolphins talk underwater via sonar… an experience you won’t find above the surface! Then hold on tight for the famous belly ride! Snorkel two reefs that are teeming with marine life and see the wreck of a freighter that has become an artificial reef. A sleek catamaran will bring you to the snorkeling sites, which are both located just off Buck Island, a naturally beautiful oasis that is a national wildlife refuge. Turtle Cove is known for its abundant sea turtles, the most common being green and hawksbill turtles. It’s easy to differentiate between the species, as green sea turtles weigh as much as 500 pounds and are typically twice the size of hawksbills. Countless tropical fish inhabit Turtle Cove and Shipwreck Cove, the second snorkeling venue, which is named for the ship that was scuttled there in 1979. A few years later, Hurricane Hugo broke the ship into three pieces and pushed it into shallower water. While snorkeling in the coves, you can expect to see snapper, blue tangs and parrotfish of every imaginable neon color.

Cruise along the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic on a double-decker catamaran and pause along the way to snorkel the reefs just offshore. After settling in on board, you will be free to move about the spacious catamaran and enjoy the plentiful sunny and shaded areas. As you skirt along the shore, the tropical scenery will be absolutely spectacular in every direction. After assessing the water conditions, the captain will anchor the catamaran in an ideal spot for snorkeling. The marine life may include French grunts, spotted drums and yellow goatfish, which often travel in schools. Another stop will made near a sandbar, allowing you to swim and wade in the shallow waters. To enhance the festive on-board atmosphere, the bar will be open, rum-laced Mama Juana cocktails will be flowing and music will be playing. Back at the marina in Punta Cana, time will be allotted for shopping.

If soaring like Superman across the main beach of the island sounds like your idea of fun, then this is the activity for you. You’ll be met at the keeper’s house, located at the base of the Flighthouse by the flight crew who will provide you with a safety orientation, assist with your equipment selection and fitting and a technical flight briefing covering the upcoming flight mission. Once outfitted and briefed, you’ll be transported up to your designated flight deck via the Flighthouse elevator where your adventure begins. This 1,300 ft “Double Beach Superman Run” delivers a major adrenaline experience as you fly racing face down in a “Superman” position at 40 mph! Note the beach run can also be done in the regular seat harness that is used for the Lagoon Run Zip.

OVERVIEW

Ride a bicycle around the beautiful West Bay district, stopping along the way at attractions that best characterize Grand Cayman. You will begin at Morgan’s Harbor and before long pedal down country lanes and through lovely residential neighborhoods. The winding route will become a bit more rugged as you approach Boatswain’s Bay, where phosphate mining once flourished. Other points of interest include the Cobalt Coast, which was named for the sea’s brilliant blue color, and Hell, an infernal-looking expanse of jagged black limestone that lies inland. You will also stop to sample a selection of cakes infused with locally distilled rum before traveling on to Seven Mile Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of sand on the island’s west coast. You might lie back in a lounge chair and bask in the sun, stroll along the lengthy shoreline and take a refreshing swim in the sea. You could also dine on your own.

You'll kayak to a beach in the southern part of the Bonaire Marine Park - an exquisite snorkeling location with breathtaking coral and colorful fish. This day of sun and fun starts as you meet your guide at the pier for the short walk to a lovely beach, for your kayaking eco-adventure. First, you’ll take a moment for a safety briefing and paddling instructions for your two person kayak. Your stable, sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, life vests, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. You’ll enjoy Bonaire’s Caribbean shore as you kayak over shallow water, filled with colorful sea life.

Keep an eye out for pelicans and turtles! Two guides will accompany you all the way. The bay is always protected from the elements. Your destination is a beach in the southern part of the Bonaire Marine Park - an exquisite snorkeling location, excellent for all skill levels. Bonaire has a long history of marine preservation and is world renowned for its snorkeling. Pull your kayak right onto the sandy beach, and moments later you’ll be slipping into the warm water with your snorkel gear and enjoying the breathtaking coral and the many colorful tropical reef fish. All of your snorkel equipment is provided, but if you have brought an underwater camera, this would be a great time to use it! Afterwards, relax on the beach and refresh yourself with some provided bottled water before kayaking back along the scenic route to the pier.

Stand up Paddle Boarding or SUP, is a fun sport and very easy to learn. With just a few helpful hints from our staff, you'll be able to paddle Bertram’s Cove offering views of the beaches and glimpses of marine life.
