Enjoy the thrill of sailing through the turquoise Caribbean Sea on the Castaway Girl, a catamaran that will take you to Shipwreck Cove for snorkeling. The catamaran is fast, stable and extraordinarily comfortable with spacious sunbathing decks and a large cockpit for those who prefer a bit of shade. You can expect an exhilarating cruise all the way to Shipwreck Cove, which is located on Buck Island. Once Castaway Girl anchors, you will be free to snorkel the surrounding coral reefs. Besides observing an array of tropical fish, you may spot the wreck of a ship that lies in just 25 feet of water. As you will see, these waters are absolutely teeming with marine life. After snorkeling, the bar will open, the Caribbean music will be turned up and the onboard party will begin in earnest.

OVERVIEW

Enjoy an exhilarating off-road adventure in an all-terrain, open-air buggy with a relaxing stop along the way to enjoy an isolated beach. After a briefing to help you maximize the experience, you can either drive the two-person buggy or simply ride along as a passenger. Either way, the thrills will be nonstop from the moment you race off caravan-style into the wilderness. If it has rained recently, all the more fun, as mud will be flying in all directions. Not much in this part of the country has been developed, but your buggy is made to negotiate rugged terrain so you can expect a carefree ride. In time, you will arrive at a beautiful beach where you can relax however you please. The water will be crystal-clear and brilliant blue so a refreshing swim should be on the top of your list. Or just stretch out and enjoy the natural beauty.

Interact with the world’s most fascinating creatures in a tropical atmosphere for a 40-minute dolphin experience, enjoy unlimited food and drinks, snorkel with tropical fish in the natural aquarium and venture onto the ocean for kayaking and paddle boarding. You’ll meet your guide outside your cruise ship for an approximate 5-minute taxi ride along the coast to the facility. Upon arrival, you’ll attend a 10-minute interactive orientation session so you can learn more about the dolphins’ history, physiology and anatomy. Next, step onto a waist-deep platform in a sparkling lagoon to experience a world of dolphin excitement! Greet your new dolphin friend with a “fin shake”, a hug and a kiss. Time in the water with the dolphins is 40 minutes. Relax after your dolphin interaction and take full advantage of everything the facility has to offer. Stop by the palapa restaurant for lunch with the family and cool off with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Kids and adults alike will love Serenity Cove, a safe inlet with snorkel equipment where you can swim through an underwater aquarium filled with tropical fish! Head out to the ocean for fun-filled activities like kayaking and paddle boarding. The Dolphin Encounter program includes all food, beverages, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. Photos, souvenirs, towels, and lockers are at an additional charge. After your tour you can easily walk into downtown Cozumel for some great shopping before heading back to the dolphin entrance where your transportation will take you back to the ship.

OVERVIEW
Race through the tree canopy on a series of exhilarating zip lines and then cool off in the Damajagua River as it cascades through the dense jungle terrain. The five ziplines more or less follow the river and offer a wonderfully unique perspective of the tropical landscape, as they span platforms high above the ground. To reach some of the ziplines, you will need to walk across swaying suspension bridges, which definitely add to the excitement. Afterwards, you will follow the guide along a section of the river with a dozen cascades. You will jump off some of the waterfalls into the deep pools below, while other waterfalls are more easily negotiated by sliding down natural waterslides carved in the rocks. You will also have time to swim in the cool, remarkably blue water between the cascades. Over time, the Damajagua has carved steep canyons into the terrain, so you can expect the scenery to be magnificent.

Ride along the coast caravan-style in a customized dune buggy and then relax on a beautiful stretch of sand in the fishing village of Mahahual. You can drive the four-person, open-air dune buggy or ride along as a passenger. Either way, you will enjoy unobstructed views of the gorgeous shore south of Costa Maya. On the way to the beach, you will stop at a Tequila Hacienda where you will participate in a tequila tasting and learn about the process making of this traditional Mexica spirit. The white-sand beaches in this part of Mexico are wide, pristine and uncrowded as you will discover once you hop off the dune buggy to enjoy the tropical setting. You will be free to do most anything you please on the beach. You might stretch out on a towel and bask in the sun, read in the shade of a palm tree and stroll along the coast. The water is typically calm, crystal-clear and ideal for a refreshing swim in the sea. Be sure to take advantage of the included lunch of traditional Mexican dishes.

Explore St. Lucia’s amazing underwater world as you snorkel at one of best locations on the island. Float along on the ocean's surface as you discover coral reefs teaming with multi colored fish feeding on plants and algae. You may also see crustaceans as they tread along white soft corals, sea fans and sponges fluttering in the current. Your certified crew will brief you on snorkeling techniques, ocean safety and equipment use. Snorkel equipment such as masks, fins, snorkels and certified snorkel guides are provided. Guests must know how to swim.

OVERVIEW

Float down the meandering White River in an inner tube and swim in a strikingly blue mountain pool. Fed by cascades known as the Secret Falls, the Blue Hole lives up to its name as the water is stunningly blue. Feel free to jump in the cool calm pool at the bottom of the waterfall, take a leisurely swim or simply relax on a shaded rock and enjoy the serenity of the jungle setting. The water in the White River is just as refreshing. Little more will be required of you than sitting in an inner tube and letting the current carry you along the clear mountain-fed river. You will float over limestone riverbeds, pass a former coconut plantation and glide through stands of soaring bamboo that arch over the river. Around every curve, a new picture of paradise will unfold. A classic lunch of jerk chicken will follow the adventure.

Experience the rainforest as never before! This fascinating open-air gondola ride will give you a bird's-eye view of the most interesting part of the rainforest – the canopy. Your aerial tram will take you into the heart of the rainforest.

The rainforest canopy is teeming with wildlife. You’ll see towering trees, giant ferns, bursts of color and myriad wildlife form part of this natural hanging garden. After your ride, take an optional one hour guided walk through the rainforest, garnering a deeper appreciation from this perspective of this complex environment.

OVERVIEW

Ascend the forested slopes of the Mystic Mountain eco-adventure park on the Sky Explorer chairlift and then race through the tropical woodlands at the summit in a sleek bobsled. The chairlift is open-air much like the ones at ski resorts, allowing you unobstructed views of the scenery as you rise high above the rain forest that blankets the mountain. The ride will be exhilarating the entire way, but especially as you approach the top of the peak, which rises 700 feet above the sea. A different sort of thrill awaits you on the bobsled, which resembles the one that Jamaica’s Olympic team famously rode in the 1988 Winter Olympics. You won’t have to do a thing but sit back and enjoy the ride as the bobsled is gravity-driven. The track winds through a narrow chute cut through the trees that twists and turns for more than a half mile. The thrills will be nonstop.

You’ll also visit Agua Clara Locks Observation Center (Expansion Locks) to learn about the engineering feat of the Panama Canal. Board your transportation for a drive to the rainforest area where you’ll board your tour boat for your eco-cruise adventure out on Gatun Lake. The lake was formed as a result of the damming of the Chagres River during the construction of the Panama Canal. Glide past lush rainforest to a secluded region of the lake and witness first-hand the natural beauty of the jungle. Exotic birds, monkeys, sloths, iguanas and crocodiles are just a few of the animals that you may see in their native surroundings. This sampling of wildlife, is part of a much larger population that live and breed in the rainforest. Your naturalist guide will point out any wildlife and also share details about the animals and their habitat with you.

Next, continue to Agua Clara Locks Observation Center (Expansion Locks) – the newest set of locks situated on the Atlantic entrance of the Panama Canal. Here you’ll spend approximately one hour observing the locks and listening to your guide explain the engineering feat required to move ships over a continental divide that separates two oceans. After, board your transportation for the drive back to your ship.
