Enjoy this fun Segway ride that combines history with wonderful views and colorful gardens. The tour commences with a brief 10 minute training session at Port Zante for the two wheel segway. Following the orientation, you’ll ride across the bay front with views of the black volcanic sand beach and the local food market where farmers and fishermen ply their trade. Your first stop is at the serene Palm Court Gardens where you’ll be afforded the opportunity to enjoy phenomenal views of Basseterre and take in the green atmosphere provided by the botanical gardens.
The gardens are also home to the renowned Shell Works Boutique which offers for purchase beautiful creations made from local materials such as driftwood, mother of pearl, sugar cane, sand and tree roots. Upon leaving the garden, riders will be taken back into time with a tour of the historical Fortlands area and to the War Memorial, which honors all those soldiers who fought and died in World Wars I and II. Riders are also treated to some local delicacies at the War Memorial before the trek back to Port Zante.

Note: Participants must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum weight of 100 and maximum of 260 lbs. Guests must be in good health with no back or neck injuries.
