A truly distinctive experience exploring the heart of the Galilee awaits you on this full day tour that combines the story of ancient Israel at Zippori, the historically significant Golan Heights, and the chance to learn of the early settlements.

Located in the rolling hills of Lower Galilee, you will find Zippori National Park. Also known as the Ornament of all Galilee, the National Park encompasses the ruins of the Ancient Roman and Talmudic era city of Zippori where Christians and Jews lived together from the 5th century. Continue on to the Roman Theater, which can seat 4,500 people at a time and was recently partially restored. Here, enjoy beautiful views of the Galilee Mountains and the Bet Netofa Valley. Other main sights here include the hauntingly beautiful Mona Lisa of the Galilee.
Leaving Zippori behind, your coach will make its way toward the Sea of Galilee and Tiberias, established in 20BC, and named in honor of Emperor Tiberius. Since the 16th century, Tiberias has been considered one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, along with Jerusalem, Hebron and Safed. You will also have the opportunity to see a Kibbutz and your guide will introduce you to the history and every-day life at this unique, collective community.
Stop for a relaxing buffet lunch at a local hotel before commencing the afternoon portion of your tour. Enjoy a stop at the Yardenit, the Jordan River outlet where the Jordan River separates from the Sea of Galilee. Proceed on towards the southern Golan Heights, driving through the countryside and passing Hamat Gader, known for its hot springs and for being the international point where the borders of Syria, Jordan, and Israel meet. Here, you are treated to breathtaking views of the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan Valley and the Northern Galilee.
