After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a leisurely drive to the beach club, an alluring setting right on the Gulf of Mexico. The atmosphere is laid-back and the amenities are magnificent, presenting you with hour after hour of relaxation and entertainment.
What you do is completely up to you, as there is no set schedule once you arrive at the resort. You might take a refreshing dip in the sparkling sea or the swimming pool. You could stroll along the coast, looking for shells and admiring the natural beauty as the waves gently lap at the shoreline.
As an alternative, you might settle into a lounge chair with a good book and an ice-cold beer or margarita in hand, compliments of the open bar. Or if you prefer, ease into a hammock under the shade of a palm tree. Countless amenities are available to make your day immensely relaxing and enjoyable.
The buffet lunch that is served is just as delightful. The dishes will be traditional Mexican favorites such as empanadas, chicken fajitas and all the iconic sides you can imagine.
After approximately three hours at the resort, you will drive back to Progreso. You can either return straight to the pier or stop in town to shop for handicrafts and casual clothing and then make your own way back to the ship.
