A must for nature lovers, this adventure presents the natural wonders within the Bacalar Lagoon; spectacularly picturesque and full of wildlife. Your exploration will begin aboard a four-person raft that the guide will navigate through the freshwater Bacalar Lagoon. Protected on all sides by thick mangrove forest, the waters of the pristine lagoon are typically as smooth as glass and every imaginable shade of blue and green. The ever-changing hues are so captivating that the waterway is known as the Lagoon of Seven Colors. The setting is also extraordinarily serene, as no motorized boats are permitted on the lagoon. As you glide along, you can expect to see all sorts of wildlife, especially water birds. In time, you will stop for lunch and enjoy free time to wander about on your own. The water doesn't just look inviting, it is wonderfully refreshing and ideal for swimming.

Lunch includes one glass of sparkling wine during the ride and one water bottle or soft drink with a baguette, potato salad and seasonal fruit.

Ease down a gently flowing river that empties into a glass-smooth lagoon, a wonderfully scenic setting that will leave you immensely relaxed. The spring-fed Bacalar Lagoon is always crystal-clear and its hues are ever-changing, the reason the pristine waterway is nicknamed the Lagoon of Seven Colors. You will glide down the river in an inflatable tube, as an assistance boat gently pulls the group through the pristine waters of the lagoon, ride that will take you past one spectacular natural sight after another, including mangrove forests full of wildlife. Besides the outstanding scenery and abundant water birds, you will see sheet-like rocks called stromatolites. Some of the world's first forms of life were found in ancient stromatolites and these unusual rocks continue to grow today. Although the river current is light, it will be just enough to carry you downstream leave your tube, let your body float in the river for some minutes, you can swim or just let you go and enjoy the experience, after the lazy river-like floating portion, get back to your tube to enjoy another fun-filled boat pull across the lagoon as you reach the shore. After a while, lunch will be served along the shore, a most satisfying end to a day of adventure.

Do you want to learn to make authentic Mexican salsas and guacamole? Learn how to Salsa dance? Relax on a beautiful beach and drink margaritas? Then this is the tour for you! Travel to a beachfront restaurant with beautiful views of the Caribbean and participate in some of Mexico’s most beloved traditions. Your guide will take you through the steps of making authentic Mexican salsas and guacamole during a hands-on cooking class. Slice and dice your fresh ingredients then taste your creations with tortilla chips.

You’ll be given the recipes to take home with you. Quench your thirst with complimentary margaritas, Mexican beer, or flavored waters. Afterwards, your guide will show you how to step, sway, and get into the groove of Latin America’s most famous dance - the Salsa! Follow step-by step instructions and you’ll soon be ready for the dance floor. After your dance class, you’ll have free time to relax in the sun, swim in the sea and enjoy the beach facilities. You will be transported to the ship once the tour ends.

Snorkel one of the newest dive and snorkel destinations on the Mexican coast, Costa Maya. Once reserved for the most ardent divers, it’s now available for beginners and advanced snorkelers alike. This tour was designed to give snorkelers an easy entrance to the water while being able to see an abundance of sea life at depths of between 3 to 20 feet of water. The adventure begins at the pier when your English speaking guide escorts you to the Beach Escape Beach Club. After you have settled in, check in for your preferred tour time, which are available on an hourly basis. You’ll receive snorkel gear and be given an in-depth information and a safety briefing.

Your guide will assist you into the water until you feel comfortable. Experience the incredible array of tropical marine life such as parrot, butterfly and angel fish, and a possible glimpse of an eagle ray. After the snorkeling portion of your tour, you’ll be given free time to relax at the beach club before returning to the ship. This tour includes an open national bar, beach chairs, and kayaks. The Beach Escape is located on the boardwalk of the Fisherman’s Village so don’t miss out on walking around, checking out the sites and getting to know the locals.

The most fun ride to Mahahual´s most exclusive Beach Club! Hop on into the coolest bus in the Caribbean. Your guide will meet you at the end of the pier and take you to the adventure. Don´t miss the opportunity to take photos and some memories with you on your way to your beach escape.

After 40 minutes of music, fun and drinks, you will arrive to the Beach club to enjoy all the facilities. Our friendly staff will make you feel pleasant and comfortable for a day of fun and relaxation.

Kayak through the crystal-clear waters off the fishing village of Mahahual and then relax at a private beach club that sits on a spectacular stretch of sugar-white sand.

After departing from the pier, you will soon arrive at a beach club in Mahahual, a small fishing village rimmed by sugary, white sand beaches and clear turquoise seas. It’s an ideal, laid-back setting for the leisurely kayaking experience that awaits you.

Upon boarding the two-person kayak, you will head out into the crystal-clear water and enjoy a unique perspective of the coastline and the wonders below through the kayak’s clear bottom. Feel free to paddle along at your own pace, taking in the sights that interest you the most.

Looking back from the typically calm sea, you will gaze out over an idyllic tropical landscape, huge stretches of pristine sand, and coconut palms swaying in the breeze. This is Mexico at its purest, a natural paradise where nothing more ambitious than relaxing is expected of you.

Following your kayaking adventure, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the white sands of the beach club. A complimentary plate of fresh fruit and an icy beverage will provide a great welcome, after which you may relax however your please.

You might take a refreshing swim in the Caribbean, meander along the beach, lie in the sun and admire the tropical scenery or simply sit in the shade with a good book. You may even spend some time shopping before returning to the pier.

Indulge in an expedition deep into the jungle. Enjoy its natural beauty and the ancient mysticism that lies within one of our single driver all-terrain vehicles. Your experienced guide will give you safety instructions and a driving course to fully enjoy the expedition. Enjoy this ride through off-road paths surrounded by tropical vegetation.

Once done you’ll be transferred to a Beach Club for a beach break. This includes an open national bar and beach chairs. A restaurant and additional water sports are available at an additional cost (cash only). Transfer back to port is provided at the end of the tour. If guests desire to return earlier, a taxi service is available at their own expense.

Experience a fantastic adventure created for those that love the outdoors. This excursion offers a bike ride through the jungle, a dip into a Mayan Cenote "water hole", the chance to try standup paddle boarding and beach time with lunch. You’ll depart from the pier aboard the Jaguar truck a custom-designed vehicle outfitted with all the equipment needed to make your experience an amazing one.

Enjoy a 15 minute scenic drive to your first stop where you’ll mount a bicycle and ride through the jungle. Arrive at the Mayan Cenote "water hole" and cool off in the water. Hop on the Jaguar truck and travel to your next destination a beautiful white sand beach where your guides will set up a camp for you. Here you can try standup paddle boarding, enjoy a boogie board ride, take a swim or just relax on the beach. A lunch will be offered at the beach before heading back to your ship after a fun-filled day of adventure.

Drive a jeep through Costa Maya and discover the perfect combination of lush jungle, turquoise blue sea, isolated terrain and white sand beaches where you’ll enjoy a Mexican lunch. Hop into your Jeep and caravan through the quiet fishing village of Mahahual to see the striking natural beauty. Hold on to your hats as you head into the jungle on a bumpy off-road adventure. You’ll encounter endless stretches of beach dotted with small fishing villages.

After an hour’s drive down the coastline you’ll arrive at a Tequila Hacienda, where you will learn about the process making of this Mexica spirit. Then it is time to head to Explora Beach, a tranquil white powder sand beach. Enjoy a Mexican buffet lunch prepared especially for you. Swim in the clear blue water, stroll down the shore. You’ll have free time to unwind before it’s time to jump back into your vehicle for the return back to the ship’s pier (return to the pier takes place by land transportation). Tour includes bottled water, soda and lunch.

Cruising and snorkeling in the Caribbean, what better way to enjoy your day in Costa Maya? Your bilingual guide will meet you at the pier and accompany you to the catamaran waiting at Fisherman’s Pier. Along the way, your guide will brief you on the safety procedures and you’ll be snorkeling under the watchful eye of a PADI certified rescue diver guide. You’ll wear a proper life vest for your safety.

Once you have received the instructions, you’ll have easy access to the water and ready to discover Costa Maya’s underwater world. Jacks, snappers, colorful angel fish or queen triggerfish abound. After your snorkel, relax as your catamaran cruises back to the pier. You’ll have the option of returning to your ship or staying downtown. If staying in town, the return trip back to the ship is on your own. Tour includes all necessary equipment.

Costa Maya is home to the 2nd largest coral reef system in the world and offers much to explore beneath the surface of the sea. A short transfer from the pier you’ll find the colorful Mayan fishing village of Mahahual and a beautiful beach where you will begin your adventure. Board your glass-bottom boat and head out over the iridescent waters of the Caribbean. Take in the panoramic view of colorful coral reef formations and tropical fish as you travel over a beautiful reef area.

Once you admire the reef from above, jump in and follow your certified guide past colorful fish and coral formations on an inspiring snorkel tour. The small group size ensures personal attention so you can relax and discover the wonders of the underwater world with your helpful guides nearby. Afterwards you will have time to enjoy on the beach before returning to the ship.

Don’t miss the extraordinary experience of gliding through Costa Maya by Segway. You’ll receive an introduction and orientation followed by one to one fun training. Once you are confident with your Segway, you’ll ride along the beach front of this resort town of the Mexican Caribbean. Enjoy the best views of the heart of Costa Maya while discovering the local flavor of this charming town.

A refreshment stop on route will allow you to take a break to admire the stunning blue waters. Just before heading back to your ship you’ll enjoy a relaxing time at one of the nicest beach clubs in the area; sip a cool beverage, swim in the ocean or just lay down at the beach. Taxi transportation will take you back to the pier at the time of your preference.
