As you meander through the most historical areas of Nassau, the guide will describe its often tumultuous past when pirates such as the notorious Blackbeard ruthlessly raided merchant ships in the surrounding waters. You too will cruise these seas on the way to the private island Salt Cay. As you will discover during a walking tour there, 18th-century pirates and privateers harvested salt from its lagoon to preserve their food. Be sure to notice the defensive tower and cannons that once guarded the entrance to Nassau Harbor. Once you settle in, you will be served an authentic Bahamian lunch along with an iconic Bahama Mama, a blend of fruit liqueurs and rum, typically garnished with a pineapple wedge and cherry. Afterwards, you can relax on the beach or shop if you prefer.

Learn about, meet and interact with the most beloved mammal in the ocean - the bottlenose dolphin. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the trainers for an educational briefing. This program takes place in approximately 20-foot-deep water, in small groups of no more than 10, so everyone has the opportunity to meet the dolphins while in the water and to ask questions. Highlights include a petting and feeding session with the dolphins, the popular high speed 'foot push' and optional professional photo and DVD/video opportunity. Upon completion of your dolphin swim, stay and enjoy the beautiful and always calm lagoon beach.

You might start by climbing the lighthouse for the ultimate view of the island and the azure seas that surround it. Not far away, you will find two beaches that are ideal for basking in the sun and swimming just off shore. If you’d prefer to stretch out on a lounge chair, you are welcome to settle into one beneath a towering palm. Begin your tour with a 40-minute scenic boat ride through historic Nassau Harbor to Blue Lagoon Island. Upon arrival you’ll attend a fun and interactive orientation covering the natural history of sea lions, animal training techniques, ocean conservation and wildlife guidelines. This educational and entertaining encounter is your chance to experience sea lions up-close. You’ll have the opportunity to hug, feed and play with these humorous marine mammals. Your interaction will take place from specially designed, waist-deep submerged platforms in a calm, private island lagoon with ten or less guests in your program. It will be a unique adventure, you’ll never forget! Upon completion of your dolphin swim, stay and enjoy the beautiful and always calm lagoon beach.

The Island Zipline Adventure course is a combination of the Osprey Zipline plus the Seahawk Zip to give you six high-flying zips plus a series of V-net bridges, chimney climbs and cargo nets, designed to challenge but not overwhelm your physical and mental strength. Tour starts with an elevator ride to the top of the Flighthouse.

With platforms at 120-feet above ground and top speed of over 50 mph, your senses will be dazed with adrenaline as you zip out over the beach and reef of Great Stirrup Cay. The V nets allow you to transverse from one zipline to another while providing you with bird’s-eye view of your fellow guests, the many islands to the South or the turquoise waters and their inhabitants below.

For those feeling extra strong and confident we’ve added an almost vertical cargo net climb or by-pass the cargo net and continue the course via the chimney climb and V net bridges.

The water surrounding Pearl Island is so beautiful that you can’t help but take a refreshing swim in the sea. The water is also crystal-clear, making it ideal for snorkeling. Take a 45-minute guided adventure through the Berry Islands, neighboring Great Stirrup Cay. After a safety briefing and orientation, you’ll board your Wave Runner for an informative and exciting guided tour. Some of the sights you may see include the Lighthouse at Great Stirrup Cay, Slaughter Harbor and the abandoned island community of Cistern Cay.

The beautiful turquoise waters south of Great Stirrup Cay are perfect for a leisurely guided kayak tour. After a brief orientation on how to use your two-person kayak, you’ll paddle over the shallow clear waters where you may encounter a variety of marine life.

Discover the tropical corals, colorful marine life, dramatic walls, reefs, and fascinating wrecks surrounding New Providence Island. Your first dive will be a wall covered with coral reef appropriate for new and advanced divers. Your dive master will lead the dive to 80 feet for approximately 30 minutes, however, you may prefer to stay up on the shallower ledge while others dive deeper. Rays the roof with a new animal experience at Blue Lagoon Island, home of Dolphin Encounters in the Bahamas! The certified animal trainers will first teach you about the natural history of the gentle Southern stingray in a fun, dockside briefing.

During your program, you will be able to safely interact with our rays on a shallow platform. Feel their silky smooth fins as they glide under your fingertips, even getting a chance to feed one if you are daring.

Cruise to Blue Lagoon Island on a sleek double-decker ferry for an up-close encounter with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins at an American Humane-certified facility. Upon arriving at the island, which is also known as Salt Cay, you will first learn about the characteristics and behavior of dolphins, such as how they communicate and use echolocation to hunt prey. Once in the water, you will stand on a waist-deep submerged platform that allows easy access to these highly intelligent marine mammals. A trainer will be on hand to recommend the best ways to interact with and touch the dolphins. You can expect an unforgettable experience as dolphins are naturally curious and social. During the two hours or so of beach time that follows, you might settle into a lounge chair and bask in the sun, take a refreshing swim, and snorkel in the turquoise sea. There are also shops in the Bahamian village nearby.

Enjoy an up-close and personal encounter with a nurse shark on Blue Lagoon Island and then reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience while relaxing on the beach. A short but scenic cruise across Nassau Harbor will bring you to the private island, where you will ease into the shallow crystal-clear waters. Swimming with sharks may sound risky but these are nurse sharks, a slow-moving, mild-mannered species that typically rests on the bottom of the sea during the day. With the trainer standing nearby, you can feed a nurse shark, cradle it in your arms, rub its smooth dolphin-like skin and then snorkel alongside the shark. The experience will be exhilarating and make for an epic story that you will be telling for years to come.
