Race through the dense tree canopy surrounding Dunn’s River Falls on a series of ziplines and then head for the mall for a Jamaican lunch and shopping. You will ride seven ziplines of varying lengths and heights, each of them exhilarating in its own way. The path between many of the ziplines features hanging bridges that span the falls, which add a different sort of thrill as the bridges tend to sway. The bird’s-eye views from these elevated vantage points will be spectacular. Chances are, you will see other adventurers below climbing the multi-tiered waterfall, which cascades over a bed of limestone that’s two football fields long. The water eventually empties into the sea. Following the zipline experience, you will return to Ocho Rios for lunch at Island Village, a colorful shopping mall with a wide range of merchandise. OVERVIEW

Soar over the wooded grounds of an 18th-century plantation on a series of ziplines and swim in a meandering river that offers a relaxing completely different experience. Yaaman Adventure Park is on the outskirts of Ocho Rios, but will seem like worlds away as much of its nearly 1,000 acres is covered in forest. It is an ideal setting for the course of seven ziplines that run through the tree canopy, each one presenting a uniquely exhilarating opportunity. You will race downhill at adrenaline-pumping speeds, so don’t blink because the sights will zoom by. You will enjoy a different perspective of the tropical landscape from the suspended platforms between the ziplines and while crossing over a swing bridge. Easing into the gently flowing waters of the Secret Blue Hole River will provide a perfect end to the outdoor adventure. Few places are quite so serene, inviting and naturally beautiful.

When Christopher Columbus arrived in Jamaica in 1494, the Spanish settlers established a capital and called it New Seville in homage to the celebrated Spanish city of the same name. Your tour will take you through St. Ann’s Bay, a town juxtaposed with the spot where Jamaica’s first capital once stood. St. Ann’s Bay boasts a statue of Columbus which you’ll see during your drive through town. The drive along the coast will take you through Runaway Bay where some of the last Spanish settlers fled after the British captured the island. After a scenic drive passing seascapes and mountain ranges you’ll arrive at your destination, the Martha Brae River.

Your raft Captain will tell you the tale of Martha Brae, the magical Indian maiden whom the Spanish colonists tortured to reveal the location of a secret gold mine. She ultimately succumbed to her tormentors and led them to the mine. En route Martha summoned her magical powers to transform the river, drowning the Spanish soldiers and herself as well. Legend says that her ghost still guards the entrance to the mine to this day. Ponder the legend as you glide downstream this 90 minute tranquil river ride.

The setting for this exhilarating experience will be the Yaaman Adventure Park, a former 18th-century plantation whose sprawling grounds of nearly 1,000 acres are blanketed with forests. After a briefing to become familiar with the dune buggy, you will hop on and tear off into the hills. You can take the wheel of the two-person vehicle, ride along as a passenger or switch positions when convenient. Either way, the off-road ride will be a nonstop thrill, especially when you zip through wet areas and the mud starts flying. A relaxing swim in the Secret Blue Hole River will perfectly complement the adrenaline rush of the dune buggy ride. In 1494, when the Spanish discovered Jamaica, they named the village Ocho Rios, after the wondrous 'eight rivers' they saw here. Today you’ll explore one of those rivers - the amazing, untouched White River. Take a step back in time when your adventure begins at the 17th-century landmark, Spanish Bridge. As you get ready to journey down the cool waters of the White River, which gained its name from the pristine clarity of its water, you’ll receive a safety briefing from your experienced guides who will also outfit you with your safety equipment. This 1.2 approx. mile ride down the river, not only gives you the rich history of Jamaica, but it also shows you the beauty of the land as you pass by coconut plantations, bamboo groves and along river banks filled with indigenous flora and fauna.

The real adventure lies in the White River as you enjoy her many moods, which will bring you to challenging rapids and enchanting lagoons. The breathtaking views and vistas of this tour, which takes you between two of the island’s most scenic parishes, can only be found on this River Tubing Safari. As you disembark, you’ll find yourself in one of Jamaica’s most beautiful valleys. The White River Valley is a garden paradise with over 100 species of flowers. Then it is time to gear up to zipline! Maneuver through the treetops in the garden by means of horizontal traverses and Indiana Jones style bridges. Get a bird’s perspective of the pristine waterfalls as you soar through the air on our “Falls Flyer” and walk across suspended jungle bridges over the falls.

Board your bus to make your way to our Adrenalin Outpost at White River Valley where you will enjoy over a kilometer on the White River in your personal inner tube.

Spend hours relaxing however you please on the beach at Discovery Bay, a beautiful stretch of sand with plenty of amenities, including a floating water park.

After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a scenic drive along Jamaica’s lovely northern coast to Discovery Bay. When Christopher Columbus landed here in 1494, he called the town Puerto Seco or Dry Harbor because the natural harbor lacked fresh water nearby.

Although the area’s colonial-style architecture is a draw, Discovery Bay is known more for beautiful Puerto Seco Beach, which is rimmed by the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. You will spend hours here enjoying the setting, as well as all sorts of other amenities.

You might stretch out on the sand, take an invigorating dip in the sea or in the freshwater swimming pool and stroll the horseshoe-shaped shoreline. Stands of palm trees line the beach, so there is also plenty of shade if you wish to get out of the sun.

If you are looking for activities, a floating water park is just offshore with slides, trampolines and a rock-climbing feature. You could also rent snorkeling equipment and see the tropical wonders that lie beneath the water’s surface.

When you are ready to dine, a hearty lunch will be served in the Santa Maria Restaurant. It is named for one of Columbus’ ships, and the park along one side of the bay is also named for the explorer, who is revered here.
