You will follow a route that will present a side of Jamaica that many visitors never see. From the lofty hills of Saint Ann’s parish, you will enjoy sweeping views of the jungle-like terrain below and the idyllic beaches that rim the coast. The bright green vegetation comes right to the edge of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, presenting an endless array of photo-worthy scenes. Jamaica’s natural beauty is just as evident at Dunn’s River Falls, the North Coast’s signature attraction. While climbing the gently cascading waterfalls, you can pause for a refreshing dip in one of the countless pools in the terraced limestone. You might also stand directly under one of the falls and experience an exhilarating massage from Mother Nature.

It’s Time To Play at CHUKKA Ocean Outpost, Seville Jamaica - featuring nature adventures in the midst of one of the most intriguing archaeological sites on the island. Gear up, hop on your ATV and get ready for a unique and unforgettable ride through the rugged dirt trails of this 16th century Spanish colonial settlement and 17th century British plantation. Your knowledgeable guide will point out a collection of artifacts that depict various aspects of the life of the Tainos, Africans and Europeans. Continue towards the coastline with breathtaking ocean views and take a moment to let our photographers capture this perfect photo-op. Located in Mammee Bay, Bamboo Blu is a short drive from the Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal. The warm ivory sand and the cool turquoise water makes Bamboo Blu exceptional. Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink in the double-deck, open-air restaurant, where the breeze is constant and the food is deliciously Jamaican. Wade or swim in the tranquil Caribbean Sea. Tour includes step-free routes, shorter distances and no stairs. Accessible restrooms with wide doors for wheelchairs are present along the tour route. Vehicles are adapted with an access ramp (or lift where available) to accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs and/or mobility scooters. Guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs; therefore, guests needing special assistance must be accompanied by an able-bodied.

Konoko Falls cascades through a lush area that the Taino Indians originally settled, and it is still an unspoiled setting. Besides taking in the waterfall’s natural beauty, you might explore the botanical garden, mini-zoo and aviary within the surrounding parkland. Jamaica is also well-known for its jerk-style cuisine featuring meat that is liberally seasoned, smoked and grilled. While dining on your own at the classic Ocho Rios Jerk Centre, you can choose from a variety of class jerk dishes ranging from grilled red snapper to spicy pork. The Taj Mahal Shopping Centre presents yet another side of Ocho Rios, one that caters to those seeking upscale designer merchandise. Designed to emulate the original Taj Mahal in India, the mall contains dozens of duty-free shops. Jewelry stores are particularly plentiful.

Take a swim in the sea, dip your toes in the sand, and enjoy a tasty lunch and cocktails. Hostesses will serve house drinks and lemonade right to your beach chair, along with a tapas lunch, including jerk chicken, jerk sausage, festivals, plantains and more. If time permits and at the discretion of the tour guide, there will be a stop for souvenir shopping on the way back to the ship..

Your climbing guide will take you along the best route and point out the many natural cool plunge pools you can slide into as you journey upwards. For those who do not want to climb the waterfall, there is an observation deck where you can watch all the fun.

Then travel approximately 35 minutes to Bamboo Beach Club for fun and sun. Relax on a complimentary beach chair and enjoy the clear blue water and warm sunshine. Our hostesses and staff will entertain throughout the day as our DJ plays a mix of dancehall and reggae beats. Watch our bartender’s mixology demonstration as they create the special cocktail of the day. Take a swim in the sea, bask in the sun, and enjoy a tasty lunch and beverages. Hostesses will serve house cocktails and lemonade right to your beach chair along with a tapas lunch, including jerk chicken, jerk sausage, festivals, rice and more. Take a dip in some of the many plunge pools on your way up and brace yourself for the unforgettable views below. Don't wish to climb the waterfall? No problem. You can still watch the action from the observation deck adjacent to the falls.

Then relax on a 35- minute scenic ride to Bamboo Beach Club. Enjoy reggae beats and champagne welcome drinks as your tour guide takes you to the VIP section of the beach. Relax on padded lounge beds, sip specialty house cocktails and house sodas, and enjoy a four-course lunch, including jerk chicken and fish, along with other special dishes, such as jerk chicken spring rolls with mango chutney, fish tartare, and the chef's rum raisin bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. Jamaica's riverside scenery, outdoor adventure and authentic flavors are on spectacular display as you float downriver in an inner tube before soaking up the sun and having lunch at Bamboo Beach Club. You'll kick off the day with a scenic drive to a picturesque river nestled among the tropical jungle environs. After a short safety briefing, you’ll climb in your inner tubes and float through gentle rapids downstream. Your river guide will entertain you along the way until the end of your journey where the river runs into the Caribbean Sea.

Then travel to Bamboo Beach Club where you'll be served champagne welcome drinks, escorted to the VIP section, and given a padded lounge chair. Sip on specialty house cocktailsand house sodas, and enjoy a four-course lunch, including fresh fish and chicken, fish tartare, jerk chicken spring rolls with mango chutney, and rum raisin bread pudding. Hostesses will deliver everything to your chair so you can watch light entertainment by our staff and see our bartender’s daily mixology demonstration as they create the special cocktail of the day. On the way back to the ship there will be a stop for souvenir shopping if time permits and at the discretion of tour guide.

Settle in for an exceptionally scenic drive along Jamaica’s lush northern shore with stops every so often for photos. As you travel west, the area’s stunning natural beauty will be on full display. Expect to see one iconic tropical vista after another, as the land is largely undeveloped. Upon reaching the settlement of St. Ann’s Bay, you will pause at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a church built with quarried stone from an unfinished church from the 1500s. Nearby, you will find statues of Marcus Garvey and Christopher Columbus, both of whom significantly influenced Jamaica and the Caribbean. Continuing on to the parish of St. Mary on the eastern side of Ocho Rios, you will visit the Rio Nuevo battle site, where in 1658 the invading English defeated the entrenched Spanish troops for control of the island. Another stop at Oceans of the Ridge will offer the ultimate hilltop view of Ochos Rios.
