Experience Skagway with Alaska’s original city historical tour for an informative fun filled 90 minutes to “all points of interest”. Skagway character Martin Itjen came here looking for gold in 1898 and became the town’s most celebrated storyteller. He gave Alaska’s first motorized sightseeing tour on his “Skagway Street Car” for U.S. President Warren G. Harding in 1923 and delighted visitors for decades. Today, Martin’s tour lives on! Aboard your yellow 1927 sightseeing bus, your costumed “conductor” passes on a century of history, behind-the-scenes tales and stories.

Explore the waterfront and National Park Historic District, enjoy the panoramic views from the scenic overlook and have your camera ready for the recounting of the Soapy Smith gunfight at the Gold Rush Cemetery. Highlighting the history of this gold rush town and the pioneer families that built it, you’ll motor through the residential neighborhoods of Skagway, famous for its flower gardens. A courtesy stop is made in town for those wanting to shop or explore before the tour continues back to the ship. Don’t miss seeing “all points of interest” aboard the Skagway Street Car.

The grandeur of Alaska’s epic glaciers will thrill and delight you on Juneau’s only five glacier flightseeing tour. This is a must do Alaskan experience, seeing glaciers from the air on an authentic Alaskan bush plane. Your seaplane exploration begins as your aircraft gently takes off from the historic downtown waterfront carrying you over Juneau’s mining past.

En route, you'll soar over the lush wilderness of the Tongass National Forest until your first glimpse of five distinctly different majestic glaciers making up the 1,500 square mile Juneau Icefield. Glide over the deep crevasses and azure blue melt water pools of the Norris, Hole-In-The-Wall, East and West Twin Glaciers, plus the famous five mile wide Taku Glacier. Of the 36 named glaciers comprising the Juneau Icefield, the Taku Glacier is the only one that is actually advancing, not retreating - one of only a few in the world.

All participants enjoy a window seat for enhanced viewing and a headset for continuous narration.

Travel through Juneau’s downtown to the Mendenhall Glacier. Stroll the many walkways or enjoy the Visitor Center, then board your motorcoach for a trip to Macaulay Salmon Hatchery. Your hatchery visit will start off with viewing the lifecycle of the salmon in action. From May through mid-June you'll be able to feed salmon fry in the hatchery waters. From late June through September different species of salmon begin returning to the hatchery facility to complete their lifecycle. The hatchery also boasts several exotic aquariums rich with Juneau area sea life and a touch tank that allows a more hands-on experience. Dine beside Salmon Creek, nestled in the lush foliage of southeast Alaska’s rainforest, under translucent domes that protect you rain or shine. Your tour begins with a short walk from the pier to board a catamaran for a scenic 45 minute cruise along North America's longest and deepest fjord to Haines. Along the way, you’ll witness spectacular views of waterfalls and ice sculpted peaks, as your guide points out marine wildlife.

Drive Razor style UTVs into the Alaskan wilderness. Scenic mountain and river views with wildlife viewing opportunities abound.

Your knowledgeable guide will meet you at the dock in Haines. A scenic 26 mile drive along the National Scenic Byway and through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve brings you to our remote staging area.

At the staging area, you’ll receive an orientation and safety briefing on our Razor style UTVs (Razor style Side-by-sides) from your guides. Guests wishing to drive must be at least 21 years old and bring a valid driver's license. There are a combination of 2-person and 4-person machines to accommodate varying group sizes and families.
