Robert Hertenstein

Senior Director, Entertainment Production

Robert Dean Hertenstein is Senior Director of Entertainment Production for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., overseeing the creative vision process and onboard production from show content to casting to operations across the Company’s three award-winning brands, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Hertenstein began his career with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. in 2006 and recently celebrated his 14-year anniversary with the Company. Prior to his current position, Hertenstein has traveled the world as a singer/dancer with Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and Holland-America.

He has had a 23-year career trajectory as a dancer, spanning successful roles in popular musicals, including “42nd Street” where he received his Actors' Equity Card at 19-years-old, portrayed Riff in “West Side Story”, played Steve in “Blue’s Clues Live” and Boots in “Dora, The Explorer Live”. His favorite theatre experience was participating in “Starlight Express” in both the German and Las Vegas productions.
