The ongoing construction of new amenities is carefully planned and managed to ensure it has no impact on the guest experience. All existing areas and amenities on Great Stirrup Cay remain fully accessible, and comfortable, allowing guests to enjoy their day at NCL’s highest rated destination without disruption.
First island enhancements, including the new pier, will open in late 2025. Additional features and recently announced all-new guest activities will be introduced to Great Stirrup Cay progressively throughout 2026.
Starting in late 2025 and continuing throughout 2026, a wide range of new amenities and experiences designed to elevate the guest experiences will be introduced to Great Stirrup Cay in phases. As part of the enhancements, Vibe Shore Club, similar to our adults only experiences available on board NCL’s fleet, will be soon available on the island. This exclusive area will only be accessible to guests aged 18 and over.
Vibe Shore Club passes include access to the adults-only beach venue with complimentary premium sun loungers and umbrellas, and meals in Vibe and access to the exclusive restaurant in Silver Cove. Only guests aged 18 and over will be able to book and access this experience.
An expansive new pool area spanning 1.4 acres will debut on the island in late 2025. Designed to offer something for everyone, it will feature two swim-up bars and a zero-entry, beach-style entrance that leads to an exciting splash zone with playful water features for kids. Just steps away, families will also enjoy Splash Harbor, a 3,400-square-foot complimentary splash pad with interactive fountains, aquatic elements, and a shaded bar and lounge where parents can unwind while the kids play.
The new expansive pool area will feature complimentary loungers and umbrellas for guests to enjoy.
Children must be at least 36” (0.9m) tall to use the slides and climb on the structure, but kids of all heights and ages are welcome to enjoy the surrounding water toys.
Yes, cabanas at Great Tides Waterpark will come at an additional charge. We are currently working through the pricing for these cabanas and aim to communicate final pricing details closer to their launch date.
