Start your day with a 40-minute scenic boat ride through historic Nassau Harbor towards Blue Lagoon Island. Enjoy this private island at your leisure. Swim on a pristine beach or just relax and lounge in a double hammock. Take part in non-motorized water sports activities, volleyball, and beach soccer. You can also visit the Dolphin Encounter’s facility and observe friendly Bahamian Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and sea lions in their all-natural habitat. Refresh yourself with a tropical drink and a complimentary lunch. Note: Participants ages 3 or younger receive free admission if accompanied in the program by a participating paying adult (parent or guardian at least 18 years of age). Premium non-motorized equipment such as aqua bikes, paddle boats and kayaks are available at an additional cost. Regular non-motorized equipment such as inner tubes, big boss noodles, and float mats are included. Wear your swimsuit, bring a towel and cash/credit cards for purchases at the facility. There is an additional fee of $15 per person for the inflatable aqua and bounce parks. Please visit the Shore Excursions Desk for return departures from Blue Lagoon Island. Approximately 1/2 to 1 mile of walking on the pier is required. This tour is only available for Norwegian Epic sailings and Norwegian Sun sailings. less

Learn to surf at Cocoa Beach - Surf Capital of the World! You’ll be briefed on ocean safety and marine life awareness. Your experienced instructor will teach you how to manage your surfboard on land and in the water which will get you up and surfing safely in no time. Who knows, you may be able to ‘hang ten’ before the day is over! Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and capable swimmers. Surfboards and wet suits are included. A specific time will be set for your return transfer back to the pier. For those that wish to stay at Cocoa Beach, they are responsible for their own way back to the ship. For observers, a ride-along ticket needs to be purchased onboard as the transportation for this tour is not the Cocoa Beach Shopping Shuttle. For those who would like to spend a day of fun and adventure at either Disney’s Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, Norwegian is pleased to offer two options. One is a full-day package including round-trip transportation and admission to one of the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. The other is a round-trip motorcoach transfer only from Port Canaveral’s pier to the parks. The choice is yours! Note: For Disney Park Package, children 10 and older will be charged adult entrance fees, per park’s policy. For children between 10 and 12, an adjustment will be made to your onboard account to reflect the adult ticket price. For children 2 and under, only need to purchase a transfer ticket if they wish to be seated on transfer. Lap children 2 and under, will pay no transfer charge. Transfer service only does not include entrance fees to the park. You’ll be dropped off and picked up at the coach staging area, close to the main entrance. Transfer time is approximately one hour each way. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park closes at 5:00 pm; duration of tour may vary. During peak season: April, July and December, Magic Kingdom may reach its park’s capacity; guests will have to choose another Walt Disney World® Theme Park as an option. Please note that seasonal park hours may apply. This tour returns to the pier and will not be available for guests disembarking or with a back to back sailing. less

Only at Kennedy Space Center! Located just minutes from Port Canaveral on Florida's Space Coast, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at one of mankind's most fascinating and remarkable achievements - the space program where history was, and still is, made every day. On your tour into KSC, you'll have the chance to see Space Shuttle Launch Pads from the four-story Observation Gantry and the Apollo/Saturn V Center which offers an inspirational and exhilarating look into mankind's quest for the moon. There's a lot of activities offered at the Apollo/Saturn V Center, including reliving the historic launch of Apollo 8 at the Firing Room Theater; also, being able to marvel at a monstrous 363-foot Saturn V moon rocket. Pick and choose wisely since you won’t have time to see everything. Your options include seeing an IMAX® movie, the interactive Astronaut Encounter program or the Shuttle Launch Experience. Informative, fun and exciting, this tour takes you deep into one of America’s largest National Parks - the Everglades. Here you’ll come face to face with alligators, exotic birds and native fish while gliding over an endless river of grass. Throughout the approximately 30-minute journey, your experienced guide will introduce you to the unique eco-system of the park as you experience the vast expanse of this saw grass wilderness passing by lush vegetation, mangrove swamps and hardwood hammocks. Known for its rich bird life, particularly large wading birds, be on the look out for the roseate spoonbill, white ibis, wood stork, great blue heron and a variety of egrets. It’s also the only place in the world where alligators and crocodiles exist side by side. Following your airboat ride you’ll be able to explore the park on your own. The Reptile Show will provide you with an informative, interactive opportunity to become familiar with the features of the American alligators. You may also choose to take the Jungle Trail, which leads to an area featuring American Alligators, and a crocodile exhibit, including various species from around the world. Take advantage of this special promotion valid only during the month of May 2013. Have a fun time at Atlantis. Wade into the waters of one of the world’s newest and largest dolphin habitats where you'll touch, hug, and even kiss your new dolphin friends. Watch as they show off their playful side through some of their favorite behaviors. This intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30 minutes in the water. Let the dolphins of Atlantis welcome you to join in the fun. Wet suits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided. Receive an Atlantis map which will allow you to take a self-guided tour at your leisure of the Ruins Lagoon, a recreation of the sunken streets of mythical Atlantis, and the Dig, a replica of an archaeological excavation site. Enjoy complimentary soft drinks while sunbathing at Dolphin’s Cay private beach.
Note: Bring your swimsuit. Participants must be at least 2 years of age. For children under 10 years of age, a parent or appointed guardian must participate in the program. Wetsuits are mandatory. Children must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a considerable amount of walking once at the resort. This tour has access to Dolphin Cay private beach to sunbathe and watch the dolphins only; however swimming is not allowed. For the safety of everyone, observers must remain on the beach and are not permitted to enter the water. Dolphin Observer tickets are sold onboard only. This tour is non-refundable. The transportation for this tour is by bus, approximately 25 minutes each way depending on traffic conditions. Guests participating on an Atlantis Shore Excursion must arrive at the place and time stated on the Shore Excursion ticket. Atlantis tour tickets will not be honored at the resort. There is a considerable amount of walking on this tour, approximately 0.4 miles. Duration of tour may vary. To ensure availability, dolphin excursions must be booked 24 hours prior to the port call, last minute sales will not be available. Explore the exciting world of Scuba in the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas. You’ll be given a lesson by a diving Instructor who will teach you the basic concepts and skills for scuba diving. After receiving safety instructions, diving gear and practicing a few skills, accompany your instructor on a shallow dive with depths of approximately 15-30 feet. Your dive will last about 40-45 minutes depending on your air consumption. Here, you’ll find a large school of tropical fish while you explore the undersea world. Note: This is a one-tank dive for beginners. Participants must be at least 10 years of age and 5 feet or taller. Not advised for pregnant women or participants with history of heart or lung disorders. All gear equipment is included, except for wetsuits, which are at an additional cost. Bring your swimsuit and a towel. Dive cameras, t-shirts, food and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Guests need to fill out a medical history waiver form prior to participating. Guests currently taking medication or with a previous medical condition must provide a clearance note from their physician to participate in this tour. Learn about, meet and interact with the most beloved mammal in the ocean - the bottlenose dolphin. Transfer to and from Blue Lagoon Island, home to 19 bottlenose dolphins, by boat from the pier (approximately 40 minutes each way). Upon arrival, meet the trainers for an educational briefing. This program takes place in approximately 20-foot-deep water, in small groups of no more than 10, so everyone has the opportunity to meet the dolphin while in the water and to ask questions. Highlights include a petting and feeding session with the dolphins, the popular high speed 'foot push' and optional professional photo and DVD/video opportunity. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. Pregnant women are not allowed. Actual in-water encounter time is approximately 30 minutes. Children between the ages of 6 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a paying guardian/parent. The paying guardian/parent must be book at the same time of the child participant; these booking cannot be made onboard as space is very limited. Lifejackets are required and provided on a complimentary basis; wet suits are available during cooler weather. Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel from your ship. Enjoy a narrated tour which recants the history of one of the oldest waterfront cities in the western hemisphere. When you reach the ocean kayak site, your experienced guide will give you a short safety briefing and show you how to operate your kayak. Your guide will escort you along the shorelines to explore a spectacular undersea world from above with your glass bottom kayak. When you reach the snorkel site, your tour guide will give you a safety briefing and show you how to glide and explore a spectacular undersea world with your underwater power scooter. As you ride for one hour through the water you’ll discover many parrotfish and all other habitants living in this marine protected reef.
