This scenic tour will acquaint you with the historic Royal Naval Dockyard and surrounding areas of Ireland Island. You’ll pass by the old and new prisons, the Commissioner’s House, the Old Naval Cemetery, Black Bay, Parsons Bay, and the local fisherman's area. Travel past the site where movies such as "The Deep" and "Bermuda Depths" were filmed and take a glimpse at the residential area on the return ride. Your tour route is filled with native vegetation and flowers, all of which will be pointed out and described by your knowledgeable guide. The horses are really old nags that have seen the war and can find their way around blindfolded. Note: Participants 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. Guests must be able to board the carriage on their own. The tour stops by the Clocktower Centre on the return and guests can depart the tour at that point if they desire. Your approximately 90-minute escorted Segway tour begins and ends only a mile from the cruise ship port, on the beachfront Boardwalk in beautiful Philipsburg. Here you'll meet your tour guide and be assigned a personal Segway. Everyone is surprised at the ease with which young and old alike learn to ride the Segway during the short orientation. You are now ready to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Caribbean as you glide past the many shops, cafes and bars that line the wide, 1 1/2 kilometer long boardwalk. At end of the boardwalk you'll Segway on to the beach for a glimpse at the way St. Maarten used to look, then circle back for a brief stop at an open-air bar and restaurant. Here you can buy a cool drink or just enjoy the shade. From here, the group glides further down the boardwalk through the local market before heading back to the white-sand beach where your Segway tour ends. Feel free to bring a swimsuit so that after the tour you can choose to lounge on the sparkling sand, take a swim in the warm turquoise waters, or walk across the street to the world-famous shopping district, where duty-free shopping and some of the finest boutiques are located. Then catch the complimentary water taxi back to port. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and weigh no more than 275 lbs. Seaworld Explorer is a state-of-the-art semi-submarine developed in Australia for use on the Great Barrier Reef. The vessel does not submerge; you descend into the hull of this cruising underwater observatory and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water, exploring sea life through large, clear glass windows. Make your way by coach or by taxi van to the Seaworld Explorer boarding area, from where you embark on a narrated tour of the coral reefs along the south side of the island. Step aboard this 1.5 hour Trolley Train Tour around the capital of Dominica. The train makes a stop at the Botanical Gardens, visits a city view point, a Catholic church and a local bar. First we will make a stop at the historical Roseau Cathedral and get the opportunity to visit this old colonial church and take photos. From here we will head towards the Botanical Gardens where we will take an optional walk through the Gardens with its large exotic trees and plants. Next stop will be at a view point with excellent photo opportunities overlooking the capital with the cruise line and the Caribbean sea in the background. On the way you will see bustling street life and vendors as the train goes through the most unspoiled and untouched capital of the Caribbean. The conductor will point out buildings and landmarks as you pass them by. Take a photo of the colonial architecture as you passing through the winding alleys and streets. Last stop will be at a bar which is known for its great waterfront facilities. Here you will get a complimentary fruit or rum punch and listen to some Caribbean music. This tour is particularly convenient if you went diving or snorkeling in the morning, if you wake very late, or if you just wish to be out for a short time. The tour leaves Roseau and drives you directly to the magnificent Trafalgar Falls. You will spend approximately 45-minutes enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the twin falls at they cascade side by side out of deep gorges on the cliff-face into a pool surrounded by lush ferns. First, you’ll head to the historical Morne Bruce for a bird’s eye view of the town of Roseau and the village of Laudat as you drive through the steep rainforest hills of the Trafalgar and Roseau Valleys. At this elevation, several of the major species of trees, including mahot cochon, cre cre, kaklin, balate and carapite, can be seen. The larger species in the surrounding forest support large numbers of epiphytes (air plants) such as orchids, zel mouchs, bromeliads and anthurium. This panoramic rainforest drive includes a partially developed viewpoint overlooking the spectacular Trafalgar Valley with dramatic vertical drops and interlocking spurs. See the best of Nassau. This tour will take you along Bay Street, the heart of Nassau’s shopping district, to the Queen's Staircase built in the days of England's Queen Victoria, it consists of over 65 steps cut out of solid coral rock. Catch your breath and shop around the kiosk before going to your next stop, Fort Fincastle. This fort was built in 1793 and it was designed based on the shape of a paddle wheel steamer. Next, take an outside visit to Fort Charlotte, built in the British-Colonial era to defend the island against marauding pirates. Before returning to your ship, there will be a brief photo stop at the famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Note: Fort Charlotte will be an outside visit. less

Enjoy 20 minutes of quality dolphin time! It’s a combination of both shallow water and deep-water interaction. Half the time is spent sitting waist-high on a submerged platform where the dolphins come right up to your lap. The other half of the program takes place in the deeper water where you are observing the dolphins swimming under and around you, having a chance to see them through a mask and experience more interaction. Tour price also includes admission to the Maritime Museum where you’ll have time to browse in addition to time with the dolphins. Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age. The Dolphin Experience takes place within the walls of the Maritime Museum. The museum self tour will take at least 90 minutes to explore. Your dolphin encounter in Roatan takes place in a natural setting that resembles a Tahitian island village. The resort is laid out on two small keys, one of which is the private home to a large family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. You’ll travel across the resort's lagoon to Bailey’s Key where your encounter will begin with a brief orientation at a beachfront cabana. Following the orientation, you'll walk along a white sandy beach to into gin-clear, waist-deep Caribbean waters and join trained naturalists, where you'll receive a personal introduction to a resident dolphin. The trainer will describe the dolphins’ characteristics, anatomy and behaviors and give you the opportunity to touch, kiss and play with a member of this friendly family of marine mammals. During the session you'll have excellent photo opportunities in addition to professional photographs that will be taken of you and your new friends. Departing the pier you’ll be transferred to the Yacht Club, whereupon arrival, you’ll board a motor cruiser for a scenic and refreshing cruise out to the Stingray City Sandbar where you’ll have an opportunity to play and interact with a family of friendly southern stingrays. Explore Willemstad’s Dutch architecture, pastel-colored buildings and ornate facades on a guided walking tour of the historic city. Travel along the waterway to the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge. Cross the waterway by bridge or ferry, then head to Willemstad’s historic downtown district. See Fort Amsterdam, built in 1635 and which today is home to the Governor’s Palace. Pass various government buildings and the old fort’s wall arches and continue along Main Street, passing the floating market where fresh fruits and vegetables are brought from Venezuela by schooner. Your knowledgeable guide offers island history and provides commentary throughout your tour. You’ll end at Museum Kura Hulanda exhibiting a large collection of traditional artifacts from continental Africa as well as Afro-Caribbean artifacts. After this museum visit, take a nice walk through the hotel property, which is one of the most remarkable one’s in the entire Caribbean. From here it’s a short walk back to your ship, or you can stay in the city center and cross the famous Emma Bridge to Punda shopping district. SNUBA is a unique, patented shallow water diving system, bridging the gap between snorkeling and Scuba diving. It is easy and does not require certification. There is no heavy diving gear as SNUBA divers breathe underwater by means of a 20-foot airline connected to a Scuba tank mounted on a raft at the surface and follows your every movement underwater. You’ll often see starfish, rays, octopus and juvenile fish. The coral reef is filled with tropical fish. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Walk to the Snorkel Park, where your snorkel instructor will provide you with instruction on how to operate your Aqua Power Scooter and snorkel equipment. After your power snorkel experience you’ll have time to enjoy more snorkeling, or lounge with a complimentary beverage at the secluded calm water beach. Drive along narrow, winding back roads of the historic 'Ol Towne of St. George's. Visit Bermuda's oldest fort and explore as you meander through the dark passageways of this grand fortress. The next stop allows a moment to take in the stunning simplicity of St. Peter's Church, the oldest Anglican church in the western hemisphere. Just a short stroll across the alleyway is the Bermuda Perfumery, a 17th century heritage trust home, with its fascinating open wooden beam ceilings and old-world architecture. On adjacent St. David's Island, you’ll discover the charm of this enchanting community, once occupied by the former Base Lands of the US Navy. A picture stop is included at St. David's Lighthouse, which stands on the highest point on the eastern tip of the island, sending its beam 20 miles over the ocean. Most people do not realize that chocolate was first discovered in Mexico and processed by the Aztec and Mayan Indians. But these Indians created chocolate items and drinks that are very different from the kinds of refined milk chocolate items we are familiar with from Europe. In fact, to their everlasting regret, the Mexicans never thought of adding milk to their recipes, but DID create many tasty, unusual and intriguing chocolate foods. You will be transferred to a quiet Ocean View terrace where you will first be presented with a Chocolate Martini (adults only) before this in-depth presentation gets underway describing the many stages the chocolate seed pods must go through. By grinding together some of the traditional ingredients, guests get to participate first hand in some of the same chocolate processing techniques that after many centuries are still used by the Mayans. Once your life vest is on, it is time to board your boat and glide out into the endless turquoise waters, get ready and blast off! Travel off-road on ATV 'quads' en route to discover the interior of the Samana Peninsula. But through this half-day, internationally recognized PADI Discover Scuba Course, first-time divers can experience the magic of diving in a safe, supervised and confidence-building environment. After being shuttled to a 5-Star PADI Dive Center, you’ll begin your course with a comprehensive introductory lesson in which your PADI-certified instructor will teach you the fundamentals of diving. Following this orientation, you'll apply the concepts you’ve learned in an in-water skills review session, and subsequently your instructor will take you on a guided, shallow-water dive on a vibrant coral reef to a depth not exceeding 25 feet. Cruise along Bermuda’s west end shoreline toward an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Bermuda is home to over 200 square miles of the Atlantic’s most northerly fringe reef. Although beautiful, the reef is treacherous, and there has been over 300 shipwrecks to prove it. On this trip you’ll visit two of Bermuda’s most famous shipwrecks, the Constellation and the Montana. They are home to an abundance of coral and fish and they are situated on the very edge of the surrounding reef. The captain will give you a history on Bermuda and some of its shipwrecks. Upon arrival to the site, you’ll be issued with snorkel equipment and given a safety briefing on how you may best enjoy up to one hour of safe snorkeling. Finally, enjoy complimentary Rum Swizzle and soft drinks on the return trip to your ship. If you have ever wanted to try Scuba diving now is the time! No certification required. Take a short boat ride to the dive site and discover what underwater life awaits you within swimming distance of the boat. You'll receive a detailed lecture, including equipment usage and taught basic Scuba diving skills. After the training and orientation session you'll experience the undersea world to view the diverse tropical marine life, coral reefs and sunken wrecks. Highlights include coral, fishes, a sunken submarine, a sunken helicopter, and a few cannons originally from Fort Amsterdam, perched above Little Bay. This introduction to Scuba diving is designed for the non-diver and is easy, safe and fun. Your course and dive tour will be conducted by a PADI certified dive instructor to ensure your safety and maximize your enjoyment. Experience the wonders of breathing underwater without a Scuba certification. After a short orientation and skills practice along the shoreline, you’ll go on a guided underwater tour.
