Discover the diversity of the southeast Alaska landscape via helicopter as you fly over temperate rainforests and granite peaks that surround Alaska’s capital city. To begin your walk, your pilot will choose a landing site on one of the 36 glaciers in this 1,500-square-mile Icefield. On this relaxing, non-strenuous, one-hour interpretive walk, your guide will point out and explain the glacier features and allows ample time for photos. Trekking poles and crampons will provide superb balance and traction, enabling you to travel easily on the gently rolling glacial terrain. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and be able to stand and walk on rolling terrain for an hour. Flight time is approximately 35 minutes, with an hour on the glacier. Wind/water-proof outerwear, boots, gloves, hip pack, trekking poles, and crampons are provided. No experience is necessary. This tour is non-refundable. Until now, diving Costa Maya has been a closely kept secret and is one of the most pristine dive destinations in the Caribbean. Your excursion begins with a short ride through the quaint town of Mahahual to an eco-friendly dive center. Here you’ll be split up into small groups, gather your gear and board one of our dive boats. You’ll be diving on the spectacular Meso-American Barrier reef, where the reef formations are massive and form huge swim-throughs and ledges. This breathtaking reef is also known for its beautiful corals and exotic marine life. Common marine life includes sea turtles, lobsters, stingrays, nurse sharks, dolphin and an endless variety of tropical reef fish. After your dive excursion you may choose to return to your ship or stay and experience the local culture and beautiful beaches of Mahahual. Once a fishing village, Mahahual is now a small town thriving with wonderful beachfront shops, restaurants, bars, arts and crafts booths, and more. Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age, weigh no more than 375 lbs., be in good health and present a certification card. Completion of a waiver is required. After a brief orientation and being fitted with your life vest, enter your glass-bottom kayak to take a guided journey on the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea to Dunn’s River Falls. You’ll be amazed and fascinated at the underwater world, its spectacular beauty, and the wide and varied array of corals and sea life. See the wonders of waterfalls and enjoy fantastic photo opportunities on your way to Dunn's River Falls. As you approach Dunn’s River, enjoy a truly spectacular view of the worlds most talked about waterfall. Upon arrival to the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls, your friendly hostesses will lead you to your capable guides who will assist you in climbing the 600-feet of cool refreshing water as it cascades over natural limestone terraces. Feel the excitement as you ascend the rushing waters as they plunge directly into the pristine Caribbean Sea. After enjoying the falls, you’ll head to at Dolphin Cove and experience all that it has to offer. At the conclusion of your tour you’ll have the option of being dropped-off at a local shopping plaza for shopping time at your leisure and then make your own way back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Participants must weigh no more than 250 lbs. This Tour is not recommended for those who are pregnant, who have back or neck injuries, or those with heart and respiratory conditions. You will not interact with dolphins on this tour. The Dunn’s River Falls are the highlight of Jamaica and tend to be very congested. All guests participating in a tour that visits the falls should wear foot protection that can get wet. River socks are available for rent at the falls. The rocks at the falls are slippery. Climbing the falls is optional and at your own risk. Participants who do not wish to climb the falls may enjoy the small beach at the base. The walk to the beach is on a slope with many stairs, therefore participants should be in reasonably good health. less

This fully guided wilderness hike begins with a brief 20 minute train ride aboard the Historic White Pass and Yukon Route Railway. You’ll ride through the wilderness to the Denver Valley trailhead located in the Tongass National Forest. Your hiking guide will accompany you through the dense coastal rainforest filled with old-growth trees, moss beds, and other flora. On your 3 to 5 mile hike, the trail occasionally intersects with the raging Skagway River and lookout points provide spectacular views of the Sawtooth Mountain Range.

The hike can be done as a casual stroll through the forest or as a more aggressive hike, depending on your preference. There’s plenty of opportunity for photography and there is potential for wildlife sightings. Bear, moose, and mountain goats all call this valley home. Guides will provide information about the region’s natural and gold rush history. Enjoy a refreshment before boarding the train for your return trip to town.

Note: Participants must be at least 9 years of age and in good physical condition. Dress in layers and wear sturdy walking shoes. The train returns from Canada, all participants are required to carry a valid passport. Tour duration includes approximately three hours (3 to 5 miles) on the trail.

After a detailed safety orientation, follow your guide in convoy-style, on a drive through Puerto Vallarta and on your way to the off-roads. There is no better way to explore Mexico’s countryside than on your own semi-automatic, four-wheeled ATV. While skirting the edges of the Bay of Banderas, ride into the beautiful, yet dusty foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. You’ll have some free time to explore the grounds before you head back to your ship. Note: Participants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and weigh no more than 350 lbs. Wear long pants and closed-toe, sturdy shoes. Not for pregnant women or guests with neck or back problems. Helmets are mandatory and provided, goggles are a must, and bandannas are optional.
