Master Baker Buddy Valastro, star of the popular TLC television series "Cake Boss" and "Next Great Baker," will open an extension of his family business, Carlo's Bake Shop on Norwegian Breakaway. Featuring all of the delicious treats and confections that the original bakery is known for, Carlo's Bake Shop will also give guests the opportunity to pre-order custom specialty cakes for celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries. For a challenging and fun experience, Carlo's will offer cupcake decorating classes, where guests can learn some of Valastro's tricks of the trade.

Slow churned, dense and intense in flavor, gelato is Italy’s answer to ice cream. And our version is the perfect accompaniment to a leisure stroll on your exploration of The Waterfront. Choose from a variety of flavors and drift off in sweet thoughts as you walk in the breeze.

Our new seating option, Atrium Al Fresco, is reminiscent of sidewalk-style dining - overlooking the social hub of 678 Ocean Place. Be mesmerized by the 3-story cascading LED chandelier and the constant flow of people as you dine on classic French favorites.

Norwegian was first to bring this dining concept to sea, and now we’ve taken it a step further with outdoor seating at our signature Brazilian-style steakhouse. Whether you dine indoors or out, your mouth will water as different grilled and slow-roasted meats are carved tableside. Use your Moderno Green and Red Place Card to control the carving. Serving up Irish/American classics in a relaxed, pub atmosphere, O’Sheehan’s is a guest favorite complete with billiards, darts, arcade games, TV’s and a giant two-story screen for sports and movies. The sport of people watching is popular, too.

Take a seat by the sea at Ocean Blue on The Waterfront, the newest addition to our Freestyle dining lineup. Seafood lovers will rejoice at our fresh approach to menu items as well as the variety.

And although they’re located close together, these two distinct venues offer different menus and décor, providing guests more choices than ever before. This dining option is included in the cruise fare.

When you crave a taste of the Orient, think Shanghai’s Noodle Bar. You’ll find it on Deck 7, next to The Manhattan Room. Sit at the counter and let our skilled chefs prepare authentic dim sum and fried rice as you watch. It’s more than delicious, it’s fun! Order your noodles prepared in a wok or cooked to perfection in a scrumptious broth with your choice of sauces and flavors. This dining option is priced á la carte.

Destined to become a guest favorite, Taste is a Main Dining Room serving a variety of culinary delights to please every palate. You’ll find Taste aft on Deck Six, on the opposite side of our newest Main Dining Room, Savor. With a menu that changes daily, you can enjoy a different culinary adventure with each visit to Taste. And with its close proximity to Savor, it’s easier than ever to navigate between Main Dining choices.

Located just off the Aqua Park and close to our teen area, the Uptown Bar & Grill is the ideal spot to grab a bite and get back to the action. Or stay for a while and enjoy some liquid refreshment. Best of all, you won’t lose sight of the fun, or the ocean. The Uptown Bar & Grill is a complimentary dining option.

A traditional sushi bar complete with a Yakitori grill, Wasabi serves up a nice selection of popular sushi, sashimi and rolled favorites. In addition to your artfully prepared meal, you’ll find a unique contemporary décor that includes authentic calligraphy-lined walls and digital aquarium visuals that are displayed on an in-wall plasma screen.
