OVERVIEW

Set sail aboard a sleek 40-foot catamaran and experience the magic of Bonaire's world-renowned Marine Park — one of the first marine protected areas in the Caribbean. After a short boat transfer from the pier, you'll be welcomed aboard with plenty of open deck space for sunbathing as the sails are raised and the adventure begins. Glide through the crystal-clear waters of the Bonaire Marine Park, where decades of environmental protection have created some of the Caribbean's most spectacular coral reefs. Legislation dating back to the 1960s protects sea turtle eggs and nests, spearfishing has been banned since the 1970s, and the removal of coral is strictly prohibited — the result is an underwater paradise teeming with marine life. When the captain finds the perfect spot to anchor, it's time to explore. Snorkel among breathtaking stands of elkhorn and staghorn coral and encounter a dazzling spectrum of colorful fish including grunts, wrasses, goatfish, parrotfish and tangs. Keep an eye out for sea turtles gliding gracefully through the water. Snorkel equipment is provided, and a crew member will be watching from the deck at all times. Prefer to stay dry? Relax on deck and soak up the Caribbean sun. Following the swim stop, the sails are raised once more for a relaxing return cruise along the coastline. Soft drinks and fruit punch are available throughout, with beer and rum punch served after all water activities have concluded.
