OVERVIEW

Zip along the coast of Melilla in a high-speed Zodiac boat that offers uninterrupted views in every direction. The open-air Zodiac is fast, stable and able to navigate through areas that other vessels can’t, so it is ideal for an adventurous cruise. As you pass Melilla’s historical Old Town, you will enjoy a unique water perspective of a sprawling coastal fortress built atop towering defensive walls during the 16th and 17th centuries. You will also pass craggy sea caves that were once used for storage and as places of refuge when the city was under attack. Over the centuries, the caves were enlarged by hand to create a network of tunnels beneath the city. Some of the beaches along the way will be especially pristine as they are inaccessible by land and visited infrequently. Besides being spectacularly scenic, the cruise will be enlightening as the captain will offer insightful commentary.

Note: Sailing is subject to weather conditions; for safety reasons, in case of adverse weather not suitable for navigation, tours will be cancelled. This tour is recommended for all family members, but minors should be always accompanied by their parents. Guests must be over 18 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. For safety reasons, guests under the influence of alcohol or any prohibited substances are not allowed to participate. The use of life jacket is mandatory during navigation. Guests who are hard of hearing or hearing impaired must be accompanied by an assistant, friend, or family member. For safety reasons, individuals with neck or back issues, recent surgeries, asthma, diabetes, schizophrenia, panic disorders, epilepsy, blindness, pregnancy, or other heart or respiratory conditions are not eligible for this excursion. The weight limit is 120 kg (264 lbs). Participants must be between 8 and 65 years old and should be able to walk without difficulty. Guests using walkers, canes, manual or lightweight folding wheelchairs, or scooters/electric wheelchairs cannot participate in the excursion.
