Huahine is home to Pohue Rahi volcano, 460 metres high, offering panoramic views of the island, its lagoon and sister islands, Raiatea and Taha'a.

Fun Facts

One of the island’s most famous attractions is the blue-eyed eels that live in a stream in Faie village. The eels are considered sacred because of local mythology and have truly blue eyes that seemingly glow in the water.
