I have a balcony room, is the bed only a queen? Prefer king.

Asked by: Denbo
sorry, there are only twin beds available that can be pushed together into a queen. no kings. as a matter of fact, once you get into your stateroom, you'll probably notice if there was a king size bed, you'd have literally no room to move around

Are sodas and water stocked and complimentary in aft-facing penthouse suites with large balconies?

Asked by: Suemac
they are not complimentary regardless of the type of cabin you have booked. even the haven will not give you complimentary sodas. you can however pre-order bottled water but there is a charge. i would stay out of the mini-bar however. it could get costly. i usually have the cabin steward empty it out the first day on board

Will there be wifi available on the spirit ship?

Asked by: jhaberthier
Yes, WiFi is available throughout the ship, but passengers need to purchase internet access to use it. Please see this link for details: https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/internet-packages

how can i get distilled water for my CPAP

Asked by: honeye
You may bring sealed containers of distilled water on board with you for medicinal purposes or to prepare dietary formulas. You should contact the NCL Reservations Department by phone at least a month in advance to let them know that you will be bringing it with you. They can then alert the crew to allow it on board. Passengers normally are prevented from bringing bottled water on board, but distilled water for use with a CPAP is acceptable. You also may want to bring an extension cord with you, since the electrical outlets in most staterooms are located at the dressing table near the foot of the bed. There usually are no outlets near the head of the bed.

is there a grab bar in the shower enclosure?

I find it necessary to hold on to a grab type bar when washing my hair. I do hope the shower has such in the balcony cabin
Asked by: owlie
There are grab bars in the rooms designated for mobility impaired guests, but not in standard Balcony staterooms. The shower head, however, is adjustable and is attached to a pipe that starts about four feet above the floor and runs up to near the ceiling. You could hold onto that, but since it isn't designed as a grab bar you should be careful about placing too much strain on it.

Extension cord policy?

We will have a home peritoneal dialysis machine and two CPAP machines. Also several electronic devices to charge. What is your policy on extension cords? We will be in the Haven on the Bliss.
Asked by: DisneylandIsHome
Extension cords are permitted, but you will be asked to unplug all your electrical devices when you are out of your room. Electrical outlets in most staterooms are located at the dressing table, which is near the foot of the bed. The Haven suites have a variety of floor plans, so the outlets in your room may be close to the head of the bed or quite some distance away. The best plan would be to take a multiple outlet extension cord of at least ten feet in length. Since you have several devices, two long extension cords probably would be helpful.

Is bottled water complimentary?

Is bottled water available to grab at each dining area? Or do you have to pay for bottled water before heading out for an excursion or to just take back to the room?
Asked by: GeorgiaGirlForever
A limited number of bottles of water are provided at no charge to passengers who have sailed previously with NCL and are members of the Latitudes Club for frequent cruisers. Unfortunately, additional bottles of water for Latitudes members and all bottled water for first-time guests comes at a price. Filtered water is available by the glass in all restaurants, but bottled water is not. You are allowed, however, to bring a refillable water bottle on board with you. You can fill it at the tap in your room. The water there, like that throughout the ship, is purified using a reverse osmosis process, and probably is more pure than that available from most municipal water supplies.

We want the beds to be separated (2 twin beds) instead of together

Asked by: erlinda
You can contact the NCL Reservations Department by phone several weeks before your cruise to make this request. When you arrive on board, if you find the beds are not to your liking, just mention it to your stateroom attendant. He or she can take care of it for you.

We want two single beds in our room, not a joined queen bed. (balcony room). Does it come with the 2 beds separated already?

Asked by: BABM
You can specify the way you want the beds arranged. You can contact the NCL Reservations Department in advance of the cruise to make your wishes known. If you do not, the beds will be arranged according to the names on the reservation, with queen beds for couples and two twin beds for non-related traveling companions. If you find that the beds are not to your liking once you are on board, just mention it to your cabin attendant and he or she can rearrange them for you.
