OVERVIEW

Stroll along the scenic Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, passing the whimsical Drunken Lamp Posts installation before arriving at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, one of Canada’s leading cultural institutions. During your guided visit, explore a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, and works reflecting Nova Scotia’s creative identity. A highlight is the preserved home and colorful artwork of beloved folk artist Maud Lewis, offering a touching glimpse into her life and distinctive artistic style. After free time to browse the gallery shop, continue along the waterfront to the Tidal Beacon stairway installation before returning to the port.
