Evening Whale Quest

OVERVIEW

Experience a magical evening on a catamaran cruise across Stephens Passage, a waterway teeming with marine animals that include humpback whales. After settling into the spacious main cabin of the catamaran, you will soon enter the favored summer feeding grounds for humpback whales and other marine animals. Each time a whale is sighted, the captain will position the vessel for optimal viewing and photographic opportunities. You will be amazed by the gracefulness of these behemoths, as they slowly arc their massive tail flukes into the air before diving. Throughout the cruise, the onboard naturalist will explain the behavior and habitat of humpback whales and the other marine life that may include orcas, sea lions and seals. While soaking in the peaceful ambiance of Alaska’s long evening glow, you will be served a selection of appetizers, desserts and complimentary beverages. A no-host bar offers wine, beer, and soda for an additional charge.
