OVERVIEW

Ride through Bonaire's relatively uninhabited eastern shore in a Utility Task Vehicle made for adventure. After a short bus transfer and safety briefing, you'll set off in a two-person UTV — take the wheel, ride as a passenger, or switch seats along the way. The scenery is ever-changing and spectacularly picturesque as you travel convoy-style alongside the Bolivia Reservoir and through the former Bolivia plantation, a sprawling landscape that blankets 10 percent of the island. This vast, undeveloped property contains many different ecosystems — including a rare tropical dry forest — ancient inscriptions from the island's earliest inhabitants and countless caves. You'll be free to explore one of those caves, home to an endangered species of endemic bat. Continuing toward the island's easternmost point, you'll pass near the iconic Spelonk Lighthouse — a soaring solar-powered beacon standing next to the stone residence that once housed its keeper, framed by sweeping coastal views. The return journey winds gracefully through the beautiful Bolivia area before a scenic bus transfer brings you back to Kralendijk.
