Eidfjord Nature Center & Vøringsfoss Waterfall

While browsing the highly entertaining interactive exhibits, you will gain a deep appreciation for the interplay between nature and humans. Be sure to watch the film “Fjord Mountain Waterfall,” as it is an ideal introduction to seeing Vøringsfoss waterfall. To reach the thundering cascade, you will travel through the steep-walled Måbødalen Valley and Hardangervidda, Norway’s largest national park. The road passes through long tunnels but the more circuitous old road will still be visible. From the Fossli lookout, you will be treated to a spectacular view of Vøringsfoss as it tumbles nearly 600 feet into a pool below.
