If you're an avid cruiser, chances are your New Year's resolutions could go something like this: Learn a new language, go on more adventures, enjoy the moment, and, of course, travel more. Even the Dalai Lama suggests this: Once a year, we should go someplace we've never been before. He gets it. And so does travel photographer Matthew Karsten, who advises that an "investment in travel is an investment in yourself.” What are your travel plans and goals for 2019, and why not begin now? As sister ships, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy proudly offer the same expansive Observation Lounge and many other twin features, including a waterfront promenade lined with bars, lounges, and dining options. In fact, there was one majorly fun difference Norwegian Joy could boast over its sibling ship — it sported the first ever race track at sea.
Norwegian Cruise Line is about to spread joy along the West Coast — Norwegian Joy, that is. Originally built to cruise in Asian waters, Norwegian Joy is bringing its grandeur to the West Coast by offering year-round sailings to Alaska, the Mexican Riviera, the Pacific Coast, and the Panama Canal starting in May 2019. Before taking on the new itineraries, Norwegian Joy will undergo $50 million in upgrades, including a Starbucks® store. But that's not all. Norwegian Joy also has a few tricks up her sleeve, including some stunning Observation Lounges and a race track.

Spring break is notorious for parties and unforgettable experiences, but most importantly, it gives students a chance to unwind after mid-terms and replenish themselves for the research papers and exams to come. While this means non-stop partying for many, for others it’s a chance to travel, explore, and learn about the world while relaxing and preparing for future studies. No matter what type of spring break cruise you’re looking for, these are some of the best 7-day or fewer itineraries to make your college experience even more memorable.

Deciding what to do on New Year’s Eve has always been a bit of a dilemma for me. Do I stay home and watch the countdown on TV, do I go out and fight the crowds, do I host a party, or do I hope to get invited to a party? Last year I came up with one of my most brilliant ideas yet. I packed my bags and headed out to sea to ring in the New Year.
Norwegian Cruise Line announced its sixteenth ship in the fleet earlier this week. Norwegian Bliss will begin sailing Alaska and the Caribbean, with select voyages to the Mexican Riviera, in June 2018. With a two-level electric-car race track, an Aqua Park with two multi-story water slides, and an open-air laser tag course, this is not your average cruise ship.
Most people probably have an introductory knowledge of Mexican food. From nachos, to burritos, to the perfect specimen known as a taco, "Mexican" food is almost as much of a part of American gastronomy as the hamburger.
What’s incredible, however, is how far the American version of "Mexican" food falls short of authentic Mexican cuisine. When you sail on a Mexican Riviera Cruise, you’ll get a chance experience the true culinary landscape of Mexico. Here, a list of must-try dishes (and a low-key Spanish lesson) that will spur a cultural and taste bud epiphany!
