Zip through the turquoise seas off Charlotte Amalie in a powerful catamaran that will take you to one of the island’s premier spots for snorkeling. OVERVIEW

Hike through the gorgeous tropical forest that serves as a backdrop to Magens Bay and power your own pedal boat through the turquoise waters that rim the crescent-shaped beach. As you walk along the heavily shaded natural path, you will enjoy glimpses of the beautiful bay below and pass the ruins of a former sugar plantation. The guide will describe the various forest ecosystems and whatever wildlife that you may spot. Birds are particularly prevalent and even if you don’t see them deep in the tree canopy, you will likely hear their mellifluous songs. Upon reaching the bay, you will ease into a pedal boat and power your way through the crystal-clear waters. Be sure to look for sea turtles and manta rays gracefully swimming by. Later, time will be allotted for you to relax on the beach, which may well be the most photogenic stretch of sand in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Island Zipline Adventure course is a combination of the Osprey Zipline plus the Seahawk Zip to give you six high-flying zips plus a series of V-net bridges, chimney climbs and cargo nets, designed to challenge but not overwhelm your physical and mental strength. Tour starts with an elevator ride to the top of the Flight house.

With platforms at 120-feet above ground and top speed of over 50 mph, your senses will be dazed with adrenaline as you zip out over the beach and reef of Great Stirrup Cay. The V nets allow you to traverse from one zipline to another while providing you with bird’s-eye view of your fellow guests, the many islands to the South or the turquoise waters and their inhabitants below.

Enjoy the sheltered waters of Brick Bay while sea tubing and snorkeling and then stretch out on the golden sands of Las Palmas Beach. After a briefing to ensure that you maximize the experience, you will ease onto an inflated tube and float down a lazy river-like canal lined with dense mangroves. The setting couldn’t be more relaxing as all you will have to do is sit back and take in the gorgeous tropical scenery. The sights underwater will be just as spectacular as you will discover while snorkeling a coral reef just off shore. The ever-changing parade of marine life may include brightly colored species such as parrotfish, Atlantic blue tangs and angelfish. If you are lucky You may even spot a sea turtle or two. Free time follows on the beach, during which you can do most anything you please before heading back by boat, which will offer yet another perspective of Roatan’s southwestern coast.

The venue for this adrenaline-pumping ATV escapade will be an adventure park with all sorts of winding nature trails and areas where you can carve your own path through the leafy wilderness. Mud will be flying as you cross a riverbed and race up a mountain with scenic overlooks that will present the back country in all its glory. Be sure to look for wildlife as iguanas, agoutis and tropical birds are abundant. Once you reach Luna Beach, you can thoroughly relax on this gorgeous stretch of sand that rims a private beach club. The hours there will be yours to do as you please. Few places on Roatan are quite so spectacular for taking a refreshing swim in the sea, strolling along the shore, and basking in the sun.

Don’t think… just trust and launch yourself from the Flighthouse platform. Feel the adrenaline surge and the wind gust as you soar 100 feet above the Manatee Lagoon. The first three zips crisscross Harvest Caye, each zip long enough for you to feel the rush and enjoy the sensation. To enhance the thrill and excitement we have added a transverse over the elevated suspension bridge. Allowing you a bird’s eye view of guests below or to search the horizon and take in panoramic views of the Mayan Mountains on the mainland or the turquoise waters of the outer reefs. The experience concludes with the side by side “Double Beach Run” racing face down in a superman position or sitting upright, either way it is 1,300 feet at 40 mph! No experience required. Soar through a tropical forest on two exhilarating zip-lines and enjoy a meandering walk through the jungle on a nature trail with towering suspension bridges.

After departing from the pier, you will take a leisurely drive through the emerald-green countryside to the area’s only extreme adventure park. Upon arriving, you will learn how to maximize your experience during a brief orientation.

You can then participate in three different activities, each thrilling in its own way. You may begin by strolling through the jungle canopy, much of it along suspension bridges and wooden boardwalks. From this vantage point high above the jungle floor, you can expect to see splashes of colorful flowers clinging to vine-draped trees, chirping tropical birds flitting through the air, and creatures such as iguanas and lizards perched on the branches.

A more adrenaline-pumping adventure awaits you on the zip line, which involves sitting in a harness and darting through the treetops from platform to platform. It will be absolutely exhilarating as you pass over trees and through pathways cut out of the dense foliage at heart-pounding speeds. You will be treated to a literal bird’s-eye view of the gorgeous tropical landscape below so don’t blink because it will go by fast.

For the ultimate thrill, try the Zuperman Zip. It is the area’s only forward-facing zip line with a special harness that allows you to fly through the air headfirst like Superman. Afterwards, you will return to the pier in Roatan.

All the height… and you don’t need might!

The Osprey traverse gets its name from the bird of prey that is commonly seen perched on our decks and consist of 3 easy flights. The first flight south is the shortest traverse at 185 feet; it is also the tallest at 120 feet above the ground. We said it was easy, we didn’t say it wouldn’t be scary!

Start the second flight by be stepping off the platform 75-feet above the ground to soar some 850 feet to next landing perched just 75 feet above the ground.

Ascending a series of stairs takes you up to your launching pad for the final 900-foot zip to ground level back to where it all started.

At these heights the air is fresher, the colors are brighter, and the ground has never been so sweet.

Enjoy the thrill of sailing through the turquoise Caribbean Sea on the Castaway Girl, a catamaran that will take you to Shipwreck Cove for snorkeling. The catamaran is fast, stable and extraordinarily comfortable with spacious sunbathing decks and a large cockpit for those who prefer a bit of shade. You can expect an exhilarating cruise all the way to Shipwreck Cove, which is located on Buck Island. Once Castaway Girl anchors, you will be free to snorkel the surrounding coral reefs. Besides observing an array of tropical fish, you may spot the wreck of a ship that lies in just 25 feet of water. As you will see, these waters are absolutely teeming with marine life. After snorkeling, the bar will open, the Caribbean music will be turned up and the onboard party will begin in earnest.

After a brief orientation on how to use the Mirage Eclipse Pedalboard you will pedal out of the confines of the Harvest Caye Lagoon and will navigate along beautiful mangroves in the Placencia Lagoon. Your guide will point out and explain about the local marine life and how crucial it is to protect the local eco-system, while looking for our resident manatees that come to graze on the sea grass that grows in the area. Cruise through the water silently, easily seeing what’s below from this vantage point. These pedalboards are easy to maneuver and require no previous experience. It's wider than a paddleboard and its hull and handlebars are optimized for stability, with steering control at your fingertips.

The Seahawk is another name for the Osprey bird of prey - and this one is our star attraction: 2,975 feet of open air, over the water ziplining fun! With a starting height of over 110 feet - don't worry, you'll take an elevator to get to the top; the 1,429-foot zip provides awesome views of the beach, reefs and surrounding islands help to distract the thought of launching yourself over the edge into the wild blue yonder.

Once you launch, open your eyes! Take in the blue hues of the Bahamian waters and watch for the marine life as you zip over coral reefs descending lower and lower finally landing adjacent to the Silver Cove lagoon.

The return is a includes a 105-foot V-net bridge, a 25-foot chimney climb and for those with the mental and physical stamina try your hand at the 36-foot cargo net climb stationed 40 feet above the ground. Two additional long zips between these obstacles provide additional rushes of adrenaline and some great adventurous bragging rights!

Your boat will take you across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Norman Island where you’ll snorkel The Caves or The Indians. You are guaranteed to see beautiful corals and sponges, plentiful fish, and perhaps a turtle or ray will swim by and visit. After your snorkel, step ashore on to Norman Island. Snorkel on a smaller nearby reef, wander ashore and explore the beach or hunt for treasure. Cooper Island, Chromis Reef is another popular site and often more conducive to snorkeling when sea conditions are not ideal. Access to the sites is right off the boat and snorkel assistance is available for beginners.
