Free at Sea™ Cruise Package

Free at Sea™ is our one-of-a-kind cruising package. Enjoy unlimited premium beverages, world-class specialty dining, shore excursion credits, and Wi-Fi - all included with your cruise. Simply pre-pay the gratuities, and everything else is taken care of. Together, these perks deliver more than $2,000 in value per stateroom, making Free at Sea™ the smartest way to sail.

The Free at Sea™ package includes unlimited drinks for all guests in the stateroom 21 and over, specialty dining (number of nights based on sailing length), 150 minutes of Wi-Fi for all guests in the stateroom, and a $50 credit towards every shore excursion you want to take (applied to guest 1 on the reservation). Free at Sea™ can be added during the offer selection portion of the booking process. If Free at Sea™ was not selected during the booking process, guests can still add it up to 24 hours prior to sailing. Free at Sea™ can be added in your MyNCL account or by calling 1-800- 327-7030.

Any reservation created on or after November 5, 2025, for a 2+ night sailing.

Yes, all guests will be charged for beverages not included in the Unlimited Open Bar Package. Any guests with Free at Sea will receive $15 off the retail value of drinks in the Connoisseur Collection.  

There is no limit to the amount of drinks consumed; however, guests who choose to consume alcohol must do so responsibly. The ship’s staff may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any guest who does not consume alcohol responsibly.

The Unlimited Open Bar package can be purchased onboard in the first two days of the cruise for $45/per person/per day + 20% gratuity + taxes and fees. Also, guests who do not want to purchase a package can purchase drinks at prevailing rates + 20% gratuity + taxes and fees.

Guests who have the Unlimited Open Bar package as part of the Free at Sea™ promotion will not be charged a corkage fee if the guest brings a bottle(s) of wine onboard.

The Connoisseur Collection consists of beverages that are not included in the Unlimited Open Bar Package. Any guests with the Unlimited Open Bar Package will receive $15 off the retail value of drinks in the Connoisseur Collection.

NCL's Unlimited Open Bar applies to all guests 21 and older per stateroom. Those aged 3-20 in spots 1 or 2 receive complimentary soda and juice instead.

No, the Haven restaurant is complimentary for all guests staying in a Haven cabin.

• Guests staying in our suite accommodations with complimentary breakfast/lunch in a specialty restaurant do not need to use one of their specialty dining nights for this amenity.
• Guests who are invited to join dinner at the Haven restaurant do not need to use one of their specialty dining nights but are subject to the dining cost.  

Before you cruise, you can make reservations via ncl.com/account-access/login, through NCL’s mobile app, or by calling our reservations department at 800-327-7030. Once onboard, you can visit the restaurant reservation's desk/hub, use the interactive touch screens located throughout the ship, through NCL’s mobile app, using ITV from your stateroom, or by calling the restaurant reservation line from your stateroom phone.

For guests under 18 without Free at Sea™ Specialty Dining:

• Guests (12 and under) eat free from the kid’s menu. Additional specialty menu items outside of the kid’s menu are subject to the cover charge per Specialty Dining restaurant.
• Guests (13 – 18) are subject to the cover charge per Specialty Dining restaurant.

For guests under 18 with Free at Sea™ Specialty Dining:

• Guests (12 and under) eat free from the kid’s menu. Additional specialty menu items outside of the kid’s menu are available. Guests choosing to order outside the Kid’s menu will be required to pay the $20 dining gratuities. Applicable only to Guest 2 in the stateroom.
• Guests (13 – 18) pay $20 per person/meal for gratuities when the package is added to the reservation.   

If you booked with Free at Sea™ but didn't select specialty dining, you can add it to your cruise in your online account at the "upgrades" tab. This must be done at least three days before your cruise.

You cannot purchase Free at Sea™ specialty dining onboard. You can purchase specialty dining meals onboard at prevailing rates + taxes and fees.

All specialty restaurants will have a cover charge + taxes and fees. Cover charges are as follows:

Steak, Teppanyaki / Hasuki, French, and Seafood have a $60 cover charge.

Brazil, Asian, Food Republic, and Sushi have a $50 cover charge.

Italian, BBQ, Pincho, and Mexican have a $40 cover charge.

• If the second guest is between 2 and 12 years old, they will not be charged for the dining package.
• If the second guest is 13 years or older, standard dining pricing will apply.

The Wi-Fi minutes are per person, for every guest in the stateroom.

For interested guests, upgraded Wi-Fi packages are still available for purchase:

• Voyage Wi-Fi Pass (1.5MBPS) for $29.99 per stateroom per day.
• Streaming Voyage Wi-Fi Pass for $39.99 per stateroom per day.

Group reservations (including FIT to include) are eligible to purchase Free at Sea plus under the same qualification parameters as standard reservations – Club Balcony Suite categories and below (certain group types (CM&I) may have specific restrictions).

As part of Free at Sea Plus, guests under the age of 21 will receive a modified version of Free at Sea Plus for a reduced price of $40 per person per day. Kids ages 3–12 sailing as guest 1 or 2 get unlimited streaming Wi-Fi and prepaid service charges. Kids ages 13–20 get this plus the 50% discount on additional specialty dining cover charges.

Free at Sea Plus™ is Norwegian Cruise Line’s enhanced value package, offering premium amenities such as unlimited open bar with enhanced beverage inclusions like unlimited Starbucks, energy drinks and premium wine, champagne and liquors plus prepaid service charges, unlimited streaming Wi-Fi and 50% off specialty dining nights. There are two versions of the package: one with Prepaid service charges and one without, depending on whether guests already have service charges on their reservation.  

The Free at Sea package includes:

• Unlimited Starbucks – one drink per visit
• Energy drinks and fresh juices
• Premium Wines, Champagne & Liquors Package (by the glass)
• Bottled water at the bar and premium bottled water (still & sparkling) in restaurants
• 50% Discount off the cover charges on any additional specialty dining nights 
• Unlimited streaming high-speed Wi-Fi
• Prepaid service charges

The Free at Sea Plus Package includes the above amenities for a cost of $49.99 per person per day. Guests who already have prepaid service charged or received them as part of a promotional offer will receive a $15 discount off the Free at Sea plus package price. *Prepaid service charges does not cover bar, beverage, or specialty dining gratuities or any other optional onboard service charges.  

Free at Sea plus can be added to reservations once that are in BK or OF status if they have the Free at Sea or More at Sea beverage and dining packages. Free at Sea plus can be added via the Seaweb Legacy booking system during the promotion selection portion of the booking process at which time the price of Free at Sea plus will be added to the reservation total. Payment for the Free at Sea package is due immediately at the time of booking. It may also be added by calling NCL’s helpful Guest Services department: 1-800- 327-7030. Free at Sea plus must be selected at least 72 hours prior to sailing and cannot be changed on board. Bookings made within 72 hours of departure are not eligible.

If Free at Sea was not selected during the booking process, guests can still add it up to 24 hours prior to sailing. Free at Sea can be added by guests in their MyNCL account online; travel advisors may add it on the booking system or by calling 1-800-327-7030.

FAS Plus is only available once a booking is confirmed and in OF/BK status (not on RQ status bookings) and will apply to guests 1 and 2 in the stateroom (age 21+). Applicable to all categories including IX, OX, BX, and MX.
