What Is the Norwegian Cruise Line Semi-Annual Sale?

Every year, NCL launches a Black Friday sale, offering the biggest savings on cruise vacations. This year, we've decided to add a second date to this sale so guests can plan their vacations ahead of time with the same monumental savings. Our first ever semi-annual sale launches July 8th, 2026 and offers 50% off all cruises plus Free Pre-Paid Gratuities on select cruises when you book Balcony Staterooms and above - potential additional savings of hundreds of dollars!

Which Destinations/ Months Are Included in the Semi-Annual Sale?

All destinations, all cruises are included in NCL's 50% off Semi-Annual Sale from now through February 2028. Additionally, Free Pre-Paid Service Charges will be included on Select Sailings for Balcony Staterooms & above.

What are Free Pre-Paid Gratuities?

Pre-Paid Gratuities, also known as service charges, are daily fees that help compensate stewards, housekeeping, and support staff, and are included on every NCL cruise. NCL's gratuity fees are normally $20 per person, per day, (Suites and The Haven is $25). But with the Semi-Annual Sale, Free Pre-Paid Gratuities are already included on select cruises when you book Balcony Staterooms and above, shaving up to hundreds of dollars off your cruise! NOTE: Onboard gratuities relating to specialty dining, spa services, and alcoholic beverages are separate, and added to your check at the time of purchase. What is not included in Free Pre-Paid Gratuities?

Free Pre-Paid Gratuities does not cover individualized or specialized tips for butlers, concierge, youth program staff, and the like. These tips are given at your discretion, but are highly appreciated. Additionally, there is a 20% gratuity included for all spa and salon services, a 20% gratuity included for all beverage purchases and a 20% gratuity added to all specialty restaurant dining and entertainment based dining (unless you have the Free at Sea package, see below).

How do Free Pre-Paid Gratuities differ from Gratuities included in the Free At Sea package?

NCL's Free at Sea unlimited open bar and specialty dining packages already include the applicable bar & dining gratuities. These are separate from the Free Pre-Paid Gratuities that are part of the Semi-Annual Sale.

Can I Combine the Semi-Annual Sale with Other Offers?

Norwegian's Semi-Annual Sale can be combined with public promotions for an unbelievable value*!
