On Norwegian Breakaway, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, pipe smoking and vapor smoking devices are permitted on deck 15 mid-ship, port side (limited area) and Spice H2O, starboard side. You also can smoke cigars in the Cigar Lounge on Deck 8 mid-ship, starboard side.

Is there a waterfall at H20

Asked by: Hollydolly
There is a grotto at Spice H2O on the Breakaway. It is an open covered area with benches where the water trickles and sprays over the passengers. It's not a waterfall, but it's very refreshing on a hot day.

Is the smoking/casino area open to the main areas of the ship, or is it closed off so smoke stays in casino? It was open on the Escape and terrible!

Asked by: McKin
It's open and the smoke does drift and go to the restaurant O'Sheehan's on the other side, and the stairwell gets quite strong.

when do I know what my cabin and deck will be? I have just finished booking.

Asked by: bettu
If you chose a "Sail Away" rated stateroom, you are guaranteed to be assigned a room of at least the category you booked. You might even be assigned a room of a higher category, such as Balcony when you paid for an Inside, depending upon availability, but it will never be of a lesser category. NCL reserves the right to delay assigning your room number until the day before your ship departs. On the other hand, if you booked at a rate other than "Sail Away," your stateroom number should have been assigned at the time you made your reservation. It should appear on your travel documents, which you can view or download by logging into your "My NCL" account and following the links to your reservation info. If you are unable to locate your room number, simply phone the NCL Reservations Department for assistance.

Can 2 young adults sleep in the pull out couch?

4 young people (early 20's traveling together) they want to stay in one room, is it possible?
Asked by: mayerr
It is possible for four adults to stay in one room, but it may be less than optimal. Many of the staterooms on the Breakaway are designed to sleep four passengers. They are identified on the Deck Plans with a plus sign (+) next to the cabin number. For Balcony rooms, the first two passengers would sleep in the primary bed, while the third guest would sleep on the sofa. The fourth passenger either would sleep on a roll-away cot or in a Pullman style bed which folds down from the wall or ceiling. For Inside rooms, which usually do not include a sofa, both the third and fourth passengers would sleep in Pullman beds. The sofas generally are not much larger than a twin size bed, so it usually would not be possible for two adults to share one. In planning for accommodations for four adults, please keep in mind that all staterooms except Suites or the Haven include only one bathroom. Also, there usually are no privacy curtains to separate the sleeping areas in most staterooms. You may wish to consider two adjoining rooms or a two-bedroom suite to enhance your comfort level with four adults traveling together.

what does this mean Stateroom BF/GTY

also what does booking source NCLwebc mean
Asked by: bettu
The "B" represents the Balcony stateroom category. The "F" stands for a subcategory of Balcony room. The various subcategories are based upon the perceived desirability of the room's location and amenities (and hence its price). Typically the lower the number or letter designation, the higher the price. Subcategory "F" staterooms are among the most economical rooms within the Balcony category. The code "GTY" means that your room category is guaranteed, although your specific room number may not be assigned until the day before your cruise sails. You are assured that you will be given at least as desirable a room as you paid for, but depending upon availability, you may be bumped up to a room in a higher category. The code "NCLwebc" signifies that you booked your room using the NCL website. Other codes are used to indicate if you made your reservation by phoning the NCL Reservations Department to have a representative create the booking for you, or if you booked through a travel agent, etc.
